In 2017, the UK Medicine Regulator, the MHRA, received a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation worth £980,000 to facilitate a “collaboration” between the two entities.  But according to a Freedom of Information request answered by the MHRA in May 2021, the Gates Foundation sent funds of over $3 million to the MHRA to support “a number of projects.”
