My whole world seems to be covered in oak pollen.  I have a plastic sheet that I cover my clay with when I am not playing with it.  Everything that was covered is safe. But I spent a lot of time this morning cleaning pollen off EVERYTHING that wasn't covered.  My pasta machine, my computer, my desk, my tools, my everything you can think of. I'm afraid to open the window and enjoy the beautiful spring day while playing with clay or it will be ruined. I learned that lesson the hard way last year!  I love spring, but I'll be glad when the oak trees quit blooming.  On the other hand, the pollen is a lovely shade of yellow!

You gotta take down that sign on your lawn that says, "I am a pollen magnet".

I always keep my pasta machine covered with one of those disposable hotel shower caps. It works for dust, and I will bet for pollen as well.

Everything and everybody in the Ozarks is a pollen magnet right now.  I am the only one in my family that isn't having allergy problems.  I'm just not fond of yellow pollen dust in and on my clay.  Oh, for the beautiful breezes you are having right now!

Thanks, Moe. I feel much better now!!! LOL  You've been making some beautiful stuff lately.  I just finished 126 pens for a retreat we are doing at out church and am not on making gerbera daisies for the place settings. I'll almost be glad when this is over!  Then I can concentrate on making some jewelry.  I got some really nice complements on the pieces that I wore that you gave me.  I love to tell them that a good friends of mine made them.
