Hey, everybody

What products are you using these days to make silicon molds for polymer clay?  I used to have a product from Puffinalia, but now that she appears to be out of business, I need something I can still lay hands on. (I have some new projects for which I want to make molds -- and ideally molds I could bake in, should I choose to.

Recommendations? Sources?

THANKS!

Sherry Bailey

Hi Sherry -

I'm with Anita - Amazing Mold Putty is pretty good stuff.  It's also fairly easy to find.  I've seen it at both Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

Jenn, Thanks for your input. I don't live near an urban area so I didn't know that Hobby Lobby and Michaels are likely to stock AMP. I'm going to update my blog post now to reflect your new info. Thanks!

Thanks, ladies!

I hadn't seen your replies yet when I went to Michaels and wound up buying Easy Mold, which (according to a Google search) is pretty similar to AMP. (I didn't notice AMP in the store.)

If I'm not happy with Easy Mold, though, I will look harder for AMP!

Thanks again!
