I have been gone for a long time, dealing with my Mother passing in 2013 and am just now in the New Year of 2016 committing myself to being more active in my Polymer Clay pursuits. I would certainly hate to see any of this go by the wayside.  I Have made a ring and a bracelet so far this year so it is an improvement over 2014 when I literally made nothing.  I cannot imagine making something every day.  That is an enormous challenge, but I am sure some you are up to it.

I don't think we're being policed so if you want to join in... just do what you're inspired to do. I only committed to do one single thing :) No pressure what so ever

Welcome back Ladyartist - feel free to share anything at all, even things you've made at earlier times. The reason we do Thing-A-Day in the shortest month of the year is because we know it's hard to make something each and every day! But it's fun trying.

Hi Jackie,

Penni Jo here. I am still doing a bit of claying, am president of our polymer clay guild, will be teaching again this summer and doing some designing for new products. I get in my studio as often as I can but not as often as I'd like.

Most of my time right now is taken up with keeping up with some pesky life demands. To promote healing and strengthening, I am at the gym five to six days a week. Also, I often need to nap but am feeling better than I have in years and am so very grateful to God for the new lease on life and for my wonderful husband.

It is good to see all the fun comments here. My thanks to you all for responding.

Shawl pins are wonderful. I have two and they are beautiful. Artist Karen Humphreys made them.

Hi Jax,

In addition to chatting it was great to see new artworks from the chat-ees.

Do you ever hear from Matt? His work showed great promise.

Hi PJ,

No, I don't hear from Matt Kernan anymore, and I miss him! His designs of canes are amazing, and I hope he's still persevering with them. :)

Hi Jax,

Ah, how sad. I too hope he continues with his claying.  Summer seemed to be headed our way and then winter slammed into us for the last two days. Crazy weather but it's never boring. :-D
