Hi
Once someone posted here selling blades, they are very sharp and black. I think it was bear something . Does it ring any bells? Thank you

I don't think Bear Creek Pottery sells them any more.  The brand name on these blades is Sakura Tissue-Tek Accu-Edge tissue blades.  Lab rats can order them from VWR, or you can get them on Amazon

They are absolutely the best, but unfortunately you have to buy the whole box.  They also come in a long size, which can easily be snapped in half using two pairs of pliers, so you get two usable blades per long blade.  i scored several boxes from Bear several years ago and shared them with my fellow guild members, so I suggest you find someone to split a box with you. - Beth
