Hi Sherry, I have a DREAM Machine and from my experience it sounds like yours is somehow set up incorrectly.  I seem to remember something similar that happened to me when I got one of the scrapers in wrong after cleaning. It was so long ago, though, that I can't remember the specifics, but I do remember when I figured out what was wrong and corrected it there was no more problem. I LOVE my DREAM machine. In fact, it gets so much use I finally had to replace the scrapers because I wore them out! Luckily PCE sells replacements and they weren't very expensive. Hope you can get some ideas from Rob as far as what to do.

Thanks -- I guess I need to contact Rob. (On a petulant note, these machines are expensive enough you'd think they could come assembled! Correctly!)

Sherry, I hope that your DREAM machine fix is an easy one. I am very pleased with mine BTW, at least at the time I purchased my DREAM Machine the directions for removing and cleaning the scrapers left a lot to be desired. For a discussion of some easier ways to clean it , scroll down to #10

Happy Claying,

That looks great, thanks Anita! I will try it out when I get home. (I'm sure you are right, it's not assembled correctly. My fear is that I was confused enough in the summer when I assembled it, that I left something off not knowing where to put it, and now I can't find it... so I might have a missing part.)

Nobody has complained about their machine, so I am confident I will love mine, too, when it's set up right. I wish I had a real one to look at while I tried, but I was doing it on my own, and I didn't study the ones at Klay Karma closely enough, obviously!!

Sherry, Hope you can get it working right. My recollection from when I had problems once was that I just didn't get the scrapers seated in the right place. I don't think that there's a whole lot that could get lost, as long as you have the six nuts and the two scraper blades. If I can be of     help please ask.

Hi Sherry,

I hope you have been able to get your DREAM machine working by now. Everything Anita said is true - it's wonderful, and the directions that come with it are really lousy. :) Once you clean it a couple of times, though, it's a snap.
