Post away! Can't believe I'm the first today!

Playing with "faux" today...and will be wrapping, at least one of them, this morning. Susan

I can't believe it either! I better hurry on over and make the last beginner post for TAD this year - before I forget!!

Those cabs are yummy, Susan - wrap away and show 'em off.

Here are my two sets of buttons that I'm sharing for Thing-A-Day 28... I'm so glad there are 29 days this month! Tomorrow will be a little bit sad, except for the fact that we've decided to do Thing-A-Week on Thursdays! LOL, that will be good.

Hope you like them! They are not baked yet in these photos, probably won't bake for a day or two.

Thanks for looking.

Ohhh Susan, what lovely colors and depth in your faux cabs! They are really beautiful! Of course I'll be looking forward to seeing them all wired up. Nice.

I treated myself to a new tool and it came in the mail yesterday. YAY!!!! It's called a 1-step looper (from Beadsmith.com) and it makes it easy to make loops with just one tool. I used it on some tiny flower beads I made for TAD last year. Here's a girly bracelet and charms for a cha cha bracelet.

I finished wrapping a cab today after all. It was touch and go, lol. I'll just say I have a lot to learn to get it just right. Should I point out the problems I had? No, I guess not. But I have learned that wrapping creates a tension in the wires that make it hard to wrap evenly. And you really need to plan the whole thing out beforehand. But the process is fun...so I will soldier on :)

Aren't those just perfect buttons! The one set has a little cross in the center :) they are darling.

Tomorrow will be sad...but mostly because I work late shift and won't be able to play until late. I refuse to say its over though! I do hope we will all be here posting on Thursday and more. A note to all of you that lurk...please join in. You know you want to ;-)

Thanks a bunch.

Here's a cool video about the uses. (CoolTools' video is good, but their price is steep - cheaper on Amazon or eBay).
