Search pinterest! That's what I do. Or just start with something simple...that always leads to the next thing. Buttons are simple, so are beads. Happy searching!

Hi succpapi, Whenever my muse takes a vacation I play around mixing color samples and let the colors inspire me. I also like to look through colorful glossy magazines and catalogs and clip whatever catches my eye........ideally nothing at all related to PC (which would tend to encourage copying and thoughts of my version not being "good enough"). I keep the clippings in my inspiration notebook and the ones I REALLY like are tacked to a bulletin board in my studio. One of the things I've noticed over the years with PC and creativity (I think 16 years now) is that if I start out with the intention of making something that I hope people will like, or purchase, it's almost always a flop. I have to start out with the intention of being open to making something that excites my muse. Hope you are able to connect with your inspiration.

Happy Claying,

Anita in AZ

You have a very good point, Anita. Seeing color combinations really excites my imagination! I'm a spinner and I'm always looking for my next favorite yarn colors... in nature or media. Same with polymer.
