Happy Easter!!

Okay, now I am all caught up... right?  This is a work in progress, I plan to make it much longer. I saw a necklace by Anarina Anar (I love her work! and thought "hey I could do something similar with my border canes.")  So far I really like it.

I also made extruder beads decorated with scraps from the border cane beads.  I like them too.

Thanks for looking,

Beej

Here is my Thursday TAW entry, which happens to also be my entry into the PCAGOE flowers challenge for April. Remember those canes sitting on my desk? They sat there for the entire month until two days ago, I had no idea what to do with them. And, having a bit of a tough month so couldn't get inspired. But then I did, thankfully! I'm going to get them cleared off the desk and move on now! Except - have to clean house, having a little girl come and visit for 5 days next week. :) But hopefully the housecleaning won't get dragged out like it usually does, lol. I'll try.

I hope you like bright!

Thanks for looking.

Hi BJ,

What a fun necklace, and your border canes are always so great looking. I like the rainbow beads, also. Nice!

I got back from Nordic Poly Camp 2016 in Sweden on Sunday. Well my body and luggage did - my soul was a couple days late in getting here! I had a blast and learned some new stuff, too, even if I had played with clay longer than everybody else. Most of all I got to know a bunch of sweet, funny and sharing gals. Great company both in and outside the classroom. I have only one complaint: When you're having fun, time runs on the double! Wassup wit dat?

Stuff I made still needs finishing and all the pics I have need uploading to an online album so here only a pic of our group - rest will follow next week.

Glad I had my shades cool right here - that is a bright bottle. It's also pretty and spring-y.

Have fun with that little girl. I'm taking the Dad, kids and grandkids out to Easter lunch tomorrow and may have the youngest boy, Liam, 6yo back with me for a sleepover.

In spite of all that's going on with my newborn granddaughter I have found some time to clay. My pictures were taken in bad lighting but I hope you can see them ok.

A few cabochons, an endcap for kumihimo, and a tube bead that I really like but didn't photograph well at all.

And I am working on a cane that won't get done tonight but I will share the parts I have so far.

Now I will go and see what you all have been up to!

I agree with Eva...I do love your border canes! Clever use of them in that bracelet too. I've been using my extruder too and would like to make a border cane (somewhere near the top of my list!)
