Hi, I just wanted to share an exciting new way to create an EASY mosaic using liquid polymer clay. I came about the project by accident, but am quite happy of how it turned out. I also made a video if you would prefer to watch step by step-

#1- Print a picture using matte photo paper.

#2-Cover with a thin layer of liquid polymer clay.

#3- Bake in oven, follow instructions for your brand of polymer clay. I used Sculpey and baked @ 275 for 5min.

#4- soak paper with water, then gently rub off the paper.

#5- Roll out a thin layer of polymer clay.

#6- Cut out the pieces of baked liquid clay that you would like to use for mosaic and press them into the rolled out polymer clay.

#7- Bake project following instructions on polymer clay box.

#8 Cover the surface with 2 coats of glaze.

Done! :)

Your welcome!!:) Love this technique. I'm making some liquid polymer wings right now for another project. I had never worked with liquid polymer clay until recently and it had been a game changer. <3

That is really neat! Love your zinnia photo too. Looks like that project requires a bit of patience and time to complete but, wow...well worth it!

Hi Chelsea,

That is super pretty! I'm assuming that your blue mosaic pieces were cut from liquid polymer? Thank you for sharing!
