I will get the show rolling this week! I have things to share! Hope you do too.

I covered a tin and did a goofy little sculpt just for fun. Here they are:

Thanks for starting the thread today, Susan - I thought it was Wednesday most of today, go figure (retirement hazard or old age?).

Got these balloon dogs finished and baked - aren't they cute? The four 'big' ones (see toothpick for size comparison) will be pendants for memory wire necklaces, child size. The two puppies were prototypes to figure out how to measure the clay needed for the pendant and the placement of eyepin to get the right balance. I covered the memory wires in hollow plastic cords with glitter in them so I 'glittered' up the translucent clays, too.
I also made four pairs of end caps for kumihimo bracelets - will mount them and show later this week.

Susan, your tin is pretty - you sure put that cane to good use. And your bird with teeth is definitely goofy - and cute!

Awesomeness! I love them both, the tin is very pretty, and I remember when you made the cane; and the little Dinko guy is CUTE! I love his toenails! Also, good colors for him, he pops right out at you. :)

Thanks for starting. I tried to start last night but kept getting 404 errors, grrrrr. I will post mine now.

Hi Eva,

These are seriously adorable balloon dogs! I love them, and I'm sure the kiddies will love them, too. Great idea. Very smile-worthy,.

Looking forward to seeing end caps later!

Here is mine, I love love love love it!! It's my entry for the June PCAGOE challenge, the theme is quilling, and I wanted something a bit looser than usual quilling. It was tough! I was ready to give up more than once! I had the whole family commenting on what I could do to save it... then hubby and I talked and I was going to do a gray background, so I tried a gray background on a journal page, and thought, no way, that's not going to work. I really wanted something to absorb the brightness of the green clay, and the black on the canvas ended up working great for that! Then when I opened my ribbon box and saw the black polka dot ribbon, I knew I was being blessed. :) I don't care if I win or don't win - but the canvas is up on the wall in my Claypen and it makes me smile. So, I won. :)

I had to zoom in the see your ribbon. I had thought i was seeing white polymer dots until you said it was ribbon. This piece reminds me of neon a bit. It has a glow. Its nice that after you struggled with it...you ended up with a very pleasing wall hanging to enjoy!

I also think you're a winner! Susan

Thanks Jackie. The tin was pretty random...i used what was on my table. I decided to use that cane and added the "tufting" to cover the poor symmetry of the points. I think it worked pretty good. The tin will find some use...and i enjoyed doing it.
