Leigh, Thanks for sharing the helpful info which I now have bookmarked for the future. I have a Monarch butterfly cane that is eventually going to need your procedure. I figured it was lost. Thanks to you, now knowing what I know, maybe not! I think your clinic sounds like it would be a wonderful addition to PC knowledge!

Hugs,

How about doing a 'combo' demo - one where you make something (perhaps a cane?) and then intersperse all of the care and feeding tips while your making the cane?  That way you might pull in all the folks who've been around awhile.  If they have canes that need to wake up, they've probably been doing this a bit...  just a thought...

Leigh, I think that would be an awesome demo for Clay ConneCTion!
I passed the info on to Christy who is coordinating the demos and she will be contacting you.
After working so hard on making a cane it's good to know that it can be revived.
I still remember Jana slamming her cane on the cement floor to reduce it during one of our early retreats ;-)
Nice to know that technique can be used to revive old canes too. (But how do old clayers get on the floor to do that? LOL!!!!)

Rotflmao!!!  Hey I can still get on the floor, but I have to plan my day down there!!!!!  I heard from Christy, she wrote me a wonderful letter and we worked it all out, I'm really excited by this cause the demo will also include saving already cut slices, and how to store them and then how to apply them to new clay and work them into the new clay with out any lines or bumps or distortion, I think that tip is awesome too. cause what works for old canes on new clay will also work on new canes with new clay!!! I'm excited.

why Thank you sunni Lets see how the demo goes then I'll see if it rattels anyones interest.  Although once I hand out a sheet to go with the class I'm pretty sure it will go around the Polymer Clay world in a very fast pace.  We'll see!
