Hi Cary, Glad Leigh was able to give you an answer (she's the BEST PC resource you could ask for!). If you are looking for a PC compatible varnish to protect your cured PC pieces and make them shiny I wrote a blog post on what I recommend. Happy Claying!

the water was pretty hot when I started, but eventually it cooled off. Then I just kept it comfortably warm. There were so many it took a couple hours.

Let me know how you make out.

Hi! Wanted to let you know that I found my fix for my very awful sticky jewlery! I tried the soaking like you said but still sticky. I bought Varathane triple thick polyurethane 3x (water based...NOT oil!) I put that on my pieces and VOILA! After that dried they were no longer sticky! Whew am I a happy camper! It's been amazing! WARNING..NEVER USE MODGE PODGE to finish your painted clay pieces. I've since learned it reacts with the clay and that's what causes the stickiness. Hope others see this post and it wil save them lots of trouble. ??

great information!!!   Thank You for posting it.  Could you give us the information from the label.  They have so many types. It would be a great photo if you could get around to posting it sometime.  I used a trible thick varathan spray when I did my big wreathers, and they are still living through 15 years of hanging in the kitchen. Glad you found something to be happy with.
