I actually finished 3 ongoing elements into one complete bracelet! That is a success story for me as I usually just move on to the "next thing." It is going into the mail today for my daughter. The kumihimo was a "sitting around in a hospital room" project. The endcaps finally came together along with the focal bead using the scrap cane from last week. (I really like those scrap canes, btw!) The wire bits were not perfect but close enough. As for complete disclosure...hubby helped me glue the ends in and got CA glue a bit farther up the cord than I wished. Good thing I love him so much :)

So here it is...

Making some kumihimo braids into bracelets - just a small dent in the braids I have in a pile. All these small metal findings are hard on my silly eyes, but when taking them a few at a time, I manage.

Great job! What could be more fitting than a spiral cane for a spiral kumihimo braid. I can't see anything imperfect about the wire work and helping hands are a blessing.

Lol, we are in sync with our projects, aren't we?! Love the swirly bead and all your dangly charms. I have several more braids awaiting inspiration...think charms are in order :)

Your bracelets are just great, Eva.

Yes, we sure are - maybe we're sisters, separated at birth.

....and I was just thinking: I have some slightly curved filigree tubes in oxidized brass that I don't like much - I should cover those with pretty clay and use as focal beads for the kumihimo.!!!

Thanks, Susan.

Here is a new key ring I made, and I must say, I love it. It's great looking and great feeling as well. :) Win-win!

Thanks for looking!
