Hi Bev,

Sounds like you have a good plan. If gum is cheaper and you can do without the inhale, that's great. No craves all day today, so far so good.

I hope you are having a good day.

No, just bitter cold and then possible snow Fri, Sat or Sunday.  Stay warm and cozy!!

Bev - sounds like you have a good plan lined up for yourself. Better to use the gum then the e-cig to satisfy those craves that you can not get past.

Hope your weather is not going to be bad like the rest of us are going to get.

Take care.

Sue,

I'm going to stop all nicotine as of tomorrow. That's 10 days before Christmas and a week later it will be New Years. I don't want to be going through serious withdrawal at that time.

We are suppose to get some snow and I don't know how much. I have a psych appointment tomorrow afternoon. It is a half hour away, via the expressway, in normal weather conditions. I can't miss it. I need refills on all of my medications and they will not call in more if I miss my appointment.

How was your day today?

Ayda,

I'm going nicotine free starting tomorrow. That gives me some time before the holidays to get the major withdrawal out of my system.

Today was alright. How was your day?

Janet,

Glad things are a little better for you. I'm doing alright. I was nicotine free for about a week, then I used an e-cig and gum, so I have to go through withdrawal all over again. This starts tomorrow. The important thing is I did NOT smoke a regular cigarette. I don't even desire it. Thank God.

Bev - OK so no nicotine as of tomorrow - we will back up up and help support you as we can.I agree with you thinking that you do not want to be having bad withdrawal over the holidays.

Just leave early for your appointment so you can take your time if needed. Definitely do not want to miss it and be without your meds - that would not be a good thing.

Good luck and stay warm and safe.

PS - my day was very good - no craves or even desires.

Hello,

Just wanted to check in with my start up group and say "hello" and let you know that I completed Day 17.  I don't write much but I do check in every day to strengthen myself against the cigarette monster.

Many thanks to all of you.............

Have a great evening!

Betty
