Fortunately from what I understand these stoves aren’t overly common, but common enough in an area of the city that is pretty old, which is where I am. Can’t imagine they would fly in the U.S., though from what I’ve read they are safer than running gas lines. Yes, when it is empty it will need a refill . Hopefully I will be long gone by that time and into my own apartment!

That gas grill looks like a bathroom cabinet from Walmart converted by adding a camp stove accessory! Pretty ingenious actually! I am so glad you still have eyebrows! What city are you in? Are you visiting other cities on your search for a place to rent? Take care

Salmon or white fish (close to dinner time )

I am in Lisbon. An old area. I found an apartment! Also in Lisbon but a newer area and it has a real oven. Hopefully will get the keys tomorrow . Was hoping it would happen before my stepson and his GF left, but it didn’t work out that way as they went back to the US yesterday. So this is my first official day here alone. Now I gotta figure out how to get these huge duffle bags and my pets to the apartment, . I learned the Metro (subway) this past week and the basics of the trains, so I plan to explore the surrounding towns over the next year-ish and see if there is somewhere smaller to move to down the road a bit.
I also thought this stove was kind of brilliant considering….
