I don't remember Go Away Little Girl at all!  I didn't listen to Bobby Vee -- thought he was just a very poor Buddy Holly wannabee.

A white sport coat & a pink carnation - Marty Robbins

I remember A little Rock...by Rod Stewart, he of Maggie May, on my list of ALL TIME FAVORITE MUSIC.

Buddy Holly, gone too soon. But Bobby Vee was not bad, juet one of many.
