sunny and 10 degrees.....staying in and staying warm.....so grateful that our "new" home must be well built and insulated that we are very comfortable and warm without turning the thermostat up high....strangely I don't miss Sanibel much just once in a blue when I am bored and can't walk outside to talk to a neighbor..or if the sun doesn't shine for days...a former neighbor complained the other day that it was cold.....didn't get above 68   I laughed...

Hi Kitty,

I miss the sun we had back in North Canton. Even though we are one hour and twenty minutes north.... the Lake and its clouds are always here in the winter!!  Bronwen here playing with sand, shells and beach glass.  Enjoy the day.  Love, Susan

Good morning Susan.  I only use this desk top, a lap top, and my phone.  Have a few

ham radio transceivers that can be complex to use.  I never would have imagined that

everyone would be carrying a telephone that doubles as a computer.  I think most teens

were carrying one before I was.

I don't even understand school shootings at children.

My granddaughter is 17 now and I don't see her to often, used to see her all the time.  I text

her and sometimes she answers.

Have a good day.

Good morning Kitty.  We have a foot or more of snow coming between Sunday and

Tuesday.  Might postpone my wife's mothers dr appt.  She is improved quite a bit.  They

all went out for dinner yesterday, first time since this thing started couple months ago.

Think wife will probably come home this week and just be ready to return if needed.

Have a good day.

Good morning Kitty.  Looks like we're getting same storm.  Has been snowing

since Brandy and I got back from our walk last eve, about 4 PM.

I can't eat much with my Diabetes diet so my daughter doesn't need to bother

with helping me with meals.  Glad you got your pot roast dinner, sounds good.

Mother in law dr appt could get canceled by her family or the dr in this storm.

My wife isn't sure what she will do without that appt.  A specialist so the reschedule

will probably be weeks or a month.

I have to take my wife's car in for it's last maintenance appt that comes with the car

tomorrow morning.  I have to take it over after that.  Can't believe someone backed

into it already.  They had to back 30-40 feet before hitting it.  Then again there's a scuff

make on my Baja's rear bumper where someone backed into when I wasn't there.

Have a good day.

Hi Ernie ~

Up early for a Dr. appointment.  Always arrive way before time......wish I hadn't.  The room was FULL and so I chose to sit in the outer hallway until called.  Too many germs and people in one area.

Yes, teens grow up and it's never the same.  I've found that out with the 17 year old and the 14 year old.  I'm closer to the granddaughter than to the grandson.  His vocabulary seems to consist of a shrug, a hi and right back into his room to be with his friends on Fortnight....  If I were the parent....he would NOT be in that room all day....but alas, I am NOT.

Snow here...maybe 2 inches at the most.  Protected by the Lake or sure.  It's cold and going to get very cold. Today is "wash" day.....  Susan

Dear Kitty ~

She is adorable...BUT she is also a handful.  After five hours, I was exhausted.  She is enthralled with the steps (they are a mid century ranch/no steps).  Up and down and up and down until I could no longer do it.  I'm going to have to put my foot down as to how many times we go up and down.  All of the toys are in the loft, dollhouse too.  Active three year old....or just an OLD Oma??  Not sure

Enjoy the snow and the day.  Very bright outside.  Hugs,  Susan
