Good morning Kitty.  Looked at the rain chart for yesterday down by the farm in PA,

rained about 8 pm.  Probably have to go down without being able to mow because

my brother is in the hospital overnight with high blood pressure.  My sister from

further south in PA might go to the farm for a day or two.  Very difficult because of

all the cats in the house and usually garbage.  I just took a trailer of garbage down

but my brother has had a little time to make more.

Got the new spark plugs for my Monte Carlo SS yesterday and got them changed out.

Had a spark leak I could hear but just waited until dark and corrected it. 

Most of the stuff I do isn't that important, we just try to add meaning to our lives.  Good

you have Brian there to keep your lives going.

I can't believe I didn't come on today....well yeah I can believe it.....do we really want to keep going ?  just asking....

Good morning Kitty.  Raining here already, flash flood here while I was down at

the farm.  Window well pump didn't work here again.  I have to work on the water

sensor that turns it on.  My wife got stuck with the basement flooding.

Got the lawn mowed on the farm, lawn wasn't completely dry so did leave some

marks.  My sister is staying there a few days while brother is in the hospital.  She

is trying to clean the place up.  I put an air conditioner unit in the room where she

plans on sleeping.

Visited my brother in the hospital, took him a phone charger and some reader glasses.

His blood pressure was 244/140 and sugar was 260 so they are trying to lower those and

do some other tests.

Your brothers BP was way too high and his sugar was too.....surprised he hasn't lost any limbs.....sounds like your sister is doing a good thing.....we are partly sunny/cloudy today  we have huge rain storm last night and it is expected again tonight .....flood warnings in effect but our family all lives up on high spots which isn't hard to find in CT...and Momma is grateful for that.....I can go to sleep and not lay awake worrying.....Brian is outside doing stuff here and there....and I haven't figured out what I will do aside from exercise....same old same old hope everyone has a good day

Good morning Kitty.  Drizzle and light rain all day yesterday, supposed to be some sun today.

We live on a plateau close to the top of a mountain but we do get water from further up the

mountain.  Usually wouldn't be life threatening but a pain to have basement flooded.  I didn't

do much yesterday.  I need to figure out why my pump out back isn't coming on, something

wrong with the sensor that detects water.  Didn't want to work on it out there when everything

is wet.  It's usually plugged into a gfci outlet to protect against anything over a 20 milliamp leak

in current but I've still gotten shocked using those.  Just not good idea to mess with electric when

everything is wet.  My wife had to handle the basement water Saturday night because I was down

helping sis in PA. 

They are doing ultrasound on bottom of my brother's heart to see if it's functioning or not.  He had

heart attack few years back.  It controls circulation in legs.  Probably go visit him today.  He is closer to

us now than the farm is.  At Robert Packard in Sayre, PA only about 45 minutes away using my SS.

Tuesday have the Dr appointment for my blood test.  He was real pain in the butt last time, hope not

this time. 

Good you have Brian, work odds and ends prevent emergencies in the future.

Just catching up with past messages.  My sympathy to you and your family on the loss of Brandy.  She had a good life and is now running free.  I am so sorry for you as I have been through the loss of beloved pets.  They are our family!

Haven't been on for a while.  Just sent a note to Ernie about his loved Brandy.  Makes me feel sad.

Cloudy and cool here by the Lake.   Jim's family is gathering in Avon Lake this week-end.  I'm in the throes of cleaning....

I suggested a cleaning lady.....he said he would help me.....

Must do a potato salad for a gathering on Friday night and a Costco visit for muffins, fresh fruit, etc. on Sunday morning.  In between, a Cleveland Indians game.

Summer is going by quickly.  We have a trip to the Finger Lakes planned for our anniversary, two days and three nights.  An anniversary 50th in Cary, North Carolina in August and Highland Ranch, CO to see my cousin in October.  Trying to book a flight to North Carolina as I just don't love an 11 hour drive down I-77.

Hope all is well.  It is here.  Finn healing from his hot spot.  Down to 90 lbs. on his new dog food.

I have noticed you haven’t been on here for a couple of days.  I am hoping it is due to busy-ness and not any additional badness. 

Thanks Susan, we miss Brandy very much.  She had to much pain to control.

I just spent couple days on the farm and walked through the woods where

Brandy and I walked.

I've caught 5 chipmunks in out bird feeder and moved them to the road below

us on the mountain.  One drowned in the pool and there's still at least one left.

They take lots of seeds and they're building nests in the gravel in our drainage

ditch.
