Hey Paul,

Sorry I didn't get this posted yesterday. Big congratulations to you though on for months smoke free! tada That's wonderful and it's great to see you staying active on the forum. I hope you celebrated this terrific milestone. You have a lot to be proud of. Again, big congratulations on both staying strong in your quit and on your achievement. You're doing great and I wish you all the best as you keep moving forward.

Have a great day. relaxed

Hey Kitty,

I'm sorry I missed your earlier post. I'm not saying this because of your decision to leave the forum, though that would be our loss. I'm saying it because I know someone who years ago had to have surgery on their skull and I also had a close friend who was diagnosed several years ago with brain cancer. Anything to do with the head like that can be scary and I do remember the fear, the worry, feeling somewhat helpless, and yet wanting to help, all the while hoping and praying that they would be okay and trying to lend strength and support, trying to be brave when I felt like falling apart because really they both do and don't go through it alone. Yes, it's them. Yes, it's their surgery, their health, but it's also difficult for those who love and care for them too. In that regard it effects everyone. Sending caring thoughts and good wishes to your granddaughter-in-law. Have they already performed the surgery? I hope everything goes good or went good with the surgery and that all will be well with her. She's so young but hopefully her youth will be a advantage and hopefully the tumor will be benign. Nonetheless, I know this must be so difficult for your grandson too, to have to see his wife to have go through all of that. Sending those same caring thoughts and good wishes to you and all of the family too. I hope you all get some good news. As for your leaving, I do hope you change your mind about that but even if you don't, I hope you still see this and know that you are being thought of. As to your comment about acting like a spoiled brat, no Ma'am you're not. You and your family are going through a lot right now and wanting or seeking a bit of support just means you're human and, again, I'm sorry that you didn't get any of that support here sooner. Hugs and best wishes.

Have a great day. relaxed

Hey Ernie,

Those were great pictures. My husband sold his '74 Monte Carlo in '82 after it was involved in a wreck that bent the frame.

It must have been wonderful growing up on the farm. My husband's family were farmers too and my husband loves telling everyone how he first learnt to drive on his Dad's farm tractor.

As to the records mentioned here recently, we still have quite a few of our old albums and our 45s too. We still have a few of our older stereos too, though my husband would be happy if I would agree to get rid of those since he prefers to listen to the newer component stereo system we have.

You mentioned about the long hair you used to have, my husband used to have long hair back then too. He says his hair is too thin now and he still misses it.

What breed are the pups? They're pretty dogs and the white tips on their paws really stands out against their black fur.

I've got to get this posted, as I want to write a few other post too before getting started on some other things that I need to do today. I did want to write and say hi again though.

I hope you have a enjoyable spring day, with good weather and sunshine.

Have a great day. relaxed

Hey Kitty,

I'm so happy to hear from you and to hear that the surgery went good. I know that must be a huge relief to you. Thank you for updating us. I hope all turns out well and that she fully recovers. I wish her and your grandson both the best and all the strength they need to get through. Continuing to send good thoughts and best wishes to all of you.

Have a great day. relaxed

Excellent news, I hope the surgery was successful in removing all of the tumor and your GD is now in remission.  It's an uphill battle.  She will need all the support of her loving friends and family.  You also need love and support which you will find in mountains here.  Our continued prayers for you and your family.    Pin on Sympathy

Dear Kitty,

Sorry to see your posting.  I know that we have talked via telephone.  Sorry, I have not been on the Forum for a week or so ~ life often gets in the way.  Had a bit of a scare with something called "vertigo".  simple as small crystals in one's ear canals?    A trip via ambulance to the nearest hospital and all good.  Will see an ENT this week and hopefully get some tips on repositioning.

I see that your granddaughter has had surgery and that is a blessing that they have done this so soon.  Hopefully, it will be benign and no further treatment will be necessary.

Thinking of you.  Please don't quit our Forum.  I still think of you as my mentor........

((hugs))  Susan
