Good morning all.  64 and still rainy here until later this morn, then clears up for days.

Finn looks very happy and acting young again.  I'm happy for him.

Walked the pups through the woods later in the morning here.  Stopped getting them up

early for a while, at lest until hunting season.

Should be a nice day here after the rain front moves out.  Have a great day all.

Good evening, all. It was humid here but cools off the next few days.

I had an audiology test today, results worse than the last one 3 years ago. You can't run from your genes. Bad hearing throughout my father's family.

Good morning all.  More rain yesterday, we're getting tired of it.  Not much chance of rain today.

Sorry bad results on your hearing test Paul.  Both of our families had bad hearing with age.  Wife

already lost most of one ear.  We will probably need to look into haring aid after her eyes are fixed.

Insurance doesn't pay much of anything for either of those things until you're 65 as far as we could

find.  Even then some deductibles.

Tried to find a longer walk through the woods for the pups but didn't succeed.  We will find something.

Have a great day all.

I try to always be grateful for the things I don’t have!!!!!   Seeing and hearing are quite important but we do have devices to help as we age!!

Lovely day here in Avon Lake!

Good morning all.  Cool this morn at 49 but supposed to be in the 30s tomorrow morn.

I don't take the pups out until later in the morning now, then up the hill through the woods.

Later in life they will walk with me without leashes but now they still do much wrong.  I'm

happy for them to have their puppy time, their lives go by so fast.

Susan, when I import a picture and it's not straight up I left click on it, then I choose rotate right

as many times as I need to.  Anything else I end up with a mirror image and things aren't right

in the picture.  Don't know if you're bring them in the same and even using a different browser

might make my way wrong.  Is that a picture of Finn's patio?

Went out yesterday and got prescriptions, for thyroid and one I take sparingly for cholesterol.

Take about 1/4 of what Dr prescribes and I get it down around 70 which is where LDL needs to

be for diabetics, 100 for the rest of you.  I should be down around 70 anyway because of the plaque

on the walls of my Aorta that caused the aneurysm, which came close to killing me and did a relative.

I was so close to dying, think about that sometimes but having that deers foot hit mine at 65 mph was

even closer.  Deer was only about 6 weeks ago.

Paul, I'm certain I would do terrible at a hearing test.  I remember decades ago having a hearing test for

pre-employment and my high frequency hearing was already gone.  I'm certain it's much lower in frequency

now.  Wife's is bad in her left ear.  I can say something about 10 feet away on her left and she doesn't hear

me at all.  That's in the house and my voice is kind of low frequency, usually the last to go.  People even

older than us that have hearing aids say they are extremely uncomfortable and don't wear them much of

the time.  Also they lose them every once in a while and very expensive. My advantage plan has a $700.

deductible on them, that's a lot for something that's painful to wear.

I'm glad everyone seems to be doing fairly well.  We are doing well.  My wife is going through her appointments

getting ready to have her cataracts fixed and her blurry vision will be gone.
