Hey Brian,
So glad to hear you’re doing so great! It’s wonderful to hear from you too. Though I have to admit your description of Summer there had me , lol. Summer has been extremely hot where I’m at. I told my other half that if the coming Winter is as cold as the Summer has been hot, we’re really in for it this year! Ugh. Can you send some of that this way? PLEASE, lol. I’m glad you’re back to enjoying your golf games and hope you’re winning. It’s good to hear you’re exercising more and have lost the weight gain too. I also hope you get your early retirement. I know you’ve been wanting to do that for a while. I wish you the best with everything. I understand about not thinking of it as much and life going on but it truly is wonderful to log in here and see these post from you and Tom. I still try to log on and be here as I get the chance. It’s been a lot quieter on our thread but I try to keep the light on.
You’re right, we are the lucky 7% and we definitely earned it looking back at what we went through. I’m not at all sure that we’d be here without you either. Over that year, you cheered, encouraged, and were a rock for some of us and are a good friend to all of us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! ‘...think of at least one thing per day to be grateful for.’ Okay, typing this, that’s easy.... Wonderful quit buddies who became great friends. Love to you too Brian.
Have a great day.

Hey Tom,
You should definitely be able to see it by this time. Please take another look. Hope you’re able to catch up on the bills soon with your new job so you can relax a bit more and have some time for yourself. You deserve it. I think the Uber job is wonderful for you though, since it doesn’t pin you down or close you in. As you said, you’re still out and about. It must be a wonderful way to meet people too. Anyway, I think it sounds interesting. How’s Summer been your way? Brian said it’s cool his way and it’s excessively hot my way. I hope you’re experiencing a comfortable medium and having a great first day on your new job.

Hey Tom,
How did your first day go? Do you like it? I hope so and that you had a great day. I got something stuck in my back tire today and of course down it went. I’m going in the morning to get a new one put on. I really need to get another spare too. At the moment all I have is the spare donut. I probably should have done that today but a thunderstorm moved in and I didn’t want to drive it like that in the storm. Exciting day huh? lol. Okay, talk to you later.
Have a good evening. Hugs.

My first day went well. We were supposed to just listen to other peoples calls, but of course they had us taking calls of our own. I got thru it okay. Found out for the first 30 days they don't count any of our call grades against us. So we can't be fired for how bad we do on a call for the first 30 days.
Thanks for the good wishes on being able to catch up my finances. I think it will happen. I enjoy driving so even doing Uber on my days off still feels like days off. They have offered overtime, and I don't need money that bad that I want to work overtime. I don't know if that makes any sense but it does to me. I would get paid more for my time if I did the overtime than the uber. Anyway...

Hey Tom,
I’m glad everything went good for you today. As to the other, it makes perfect since. As you said, you’re enjoying driving Uber. It’s important that you like what you do, if you don’t it can make you miserable fast. That’s no way to live if you don’t have to, and since you don’t have to, good for you. Do what makes you happy. Hope the new job gives you weekends off to relax. Did that message ever show up? I haven’t had a message not show up before.

Hey Brian,
Congratulations on 17 months smoke free today! You may not think of it anymore but it’s still a awesome achievement, as we move month by month toward that two year milestone. Anyway, I hope you’re having a great day.
Talk to you later.

Hey Tom,
I went ahead and had all new tires put on it today. It is sweltering out there! I’m glad that message finally showed up.
Have a good day.

Hey Denim,
Thank you! I am on the forum again. I saw a post come in from a September Ex Smoker strand so I signed in and typed in my password and here I am. I can't believe it. I hope I don't start getting those "frequent posts" again. Im thankful to you for finding me. Since I touched base with you, my youngest son has had some problems so I have not been focused on anything or anybody except him. I am hoping that he and his wife can work things out. I was on a roll at work. (30 days in with no parent complaints or behavior problems). That ended last Thursday so I am back where I was last school year but not quite so bad yet. I still like my other students. I have no need to smoke, no desire to smoke and I have yet to lose the weight that I put on. I spend my weekends doing lesson plans and I am thankful to be off tomorrow for Labor Day! I enjoyed reading everyone else's posts. It looks like we all made this our forever quit. I am so grateful that we did it. Fall is on the way. Here come the hurricanes. I hope that everyone stays safe and that it cools down considerably. It has been one hot summer. Now that I am on again, I am going to try and check in every week and say hello to all of these quitters. I hope that everyone knows how this generation of kids ( My students range from 11-15) are all into vaping and are totally addicted. They have brought in counselors because these kids are having a really rough time now that they are in school all day and are not able to sneak away to vape. It makes me truly Sad!
BTW..... Charlotte just turned six months old, Kathryn is officially 4 and Owen is 2. They are growing up so quickly. I got to see them this summer but now that I am back at work I will need to wait for certain weekends. I hope that you have recovered and that your husband has as well. Congratulations on almost 18 months quit! Can you believe us and all our comrades. It is truly amazing and freeing. All the best to all my fellow quitters from Spring/Summer 2018 if you are reading this post. WE DID THIS!!! IT is an incredible weight lifted from all of us.
Peace,
