Hey Marilyn,
I'm so happy to have you back here and posting regularly again. That's terrific! It's also greatly appreciated. Thank you! I love hearing from you and I'm sure your words of support, inspiration, and encouragement are appreciated by others. It helped us so much when others further along did the same for us.
I think it's great that you're so close to the grandkids and spend so much time with them. Though I'm can't believe Charlotte is almost four now, it seems like yesterday. Children grow so fast. It's amazing.
I'm also glad to hear that you've found a place close by and that you'll be all settled in there in time for the holidays.
As much as I'm looking forward to the changing season, can you believe that next month is September? The years seem to move fast.
Thank you for your well wishes too. I'm improving, thankfully.
I'm so glad you're going to stay around the forum as often as you can. As I said, we're so happy to have you back here too. It's so great! I love that some of our other quit-buddies have posted recently also, although not as frequent. Hopefully they'll continue to do so though when or as they get a chance. I love hearing from them too.
Thanks again for continuing to post and encourage others, that's a big help on the forum and especially to those struggling as we did when we were starting out back then. Can you believe next year will be five years and we'll have to exchange those keys for wings in Feb./March? Amazing.
I've got to get this posted and do something but we'll talk again soon.
Have a great day.

Hi Tom!!! How are things going for you? It's great to see you here! Hope everything is going well and you are enjoying whatever work you're currently doing. I remember all the jobs you were looking at doing. Hope you found one that makes you happy. Again, good to see you!

Currently I am doing market research from home. Basically when a company applies for a loan I research the company to gather data for the loan officer. I am also still doing a little uber and I am going to Arizona State in my Junior year for an IT Batchlers and Uber is paying the tuition. I am only going as a part time student cause I am working full time.

Hey all. Just thought I should check in for the holidays. Still doing well from Oregon. I also quit smoking weed over a year ago, joined a gym and am exercising regularly along with golf, cooking, baking, and just living. Retirement right now is great except I have to do all the housework since my wife still works.
Cindi, I see that you are a moderator now. Nice that you are carrying on the message with the help of some older quitters. I hope work and Ohio are treating you well. Have a very merry holiday and we have to stay in touch when we can.
I didn't see Denims posts for November and wondering if she is still involved. I emailed her last week directly and haven't heard back. Hope she is well.
Marilyn, I haven't heard from you for a while and hope you are doing well in your new digs. How is retirement treating you. I also wish you a happy holiday. Please get back to me if you see this, I would love hearing from you.
Take care you all, stay strong and breathe deep. Isn't smoke free great??!!

Hey Brian! Thanks for checking in...it's GREAT to see you! Yes Denim is still the Forum owner...she's just been dealing with some personal things. Actually I have too in that my dad passed away this week. Mom is still not in the greatest health either so I get to deal with all these fun things that come along with this challenge. It's been a pretty rough couple weeks (years). :(
Haven't seen Marilyn in a while so I hope she checks in soon too. Glad you are enjoying your retirement and hope you have a great holiday season! Don't be a stranger!

I am so sorry to hear about your father but think about how fortunate your mother is to have you there to help share the sorrow and burden of his passing. What an additional chore to deal with along with the holidays. My thoughts will be with you and your family.
I won't expound during this reply, but let's catch up after the first of the year. Please take care and I hope you have a better holiday season going forward.

BUMP and Happy New Year to the March 2018 Warriors. So sorry to hear you lost your Dad in Dec Cindi. Condolences--know how hard that is. Glad you still have your Mom.
I am still adjusting and settling in The Norfolk/VA Beach area. My little doggie and I are looking forward to some new adventures at the beach and other activities in Spring & summer. I am re-acquainting myself with this area as I lived here 40 yrs ago. More traffic and expressways now. Glad I don't have to be in traffic jams since I am retired...so traffic congestion does not bother me now.
Looking forward to seeing more buddies return to celebrate getting their wings. How Sweet it is!
Gloria J
LOVE to all!!
