Congratulations on your quit.
It really is a whole new world when we become smokefree. It has such a positive impact on so many other aspects of our life. Stick around and read all you can here and keep posting.
Good luck

48 days quit, working on #49

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I was away for a couple of days. I was so happy to hear you are getting away from nicotine. I know I sleep almost the whole first week away, but I was lucky enough that I could take some time off work to do that. I remember it seemed like I could barely keep my eyes open.
Just keep in mind, whatever awfulness you are going through now...it gets so much easier!

Hi Vicki. Just wanted to say am so glad you are having continued success in your quit! It will be my first full month this coming Sunday and I have to agree with what you told Mike..it truly does get easier. My craves are very few now and they are weak. I sleep much better and not as hungry as before. Thank you for being such an inspiration!

It is good to hear from you Cheryl.
I am relieved to hear your quit is getting easier too. I am hoping we will all get to skip any problems that the 3rd month brings for many people. I don't think it is likely, but it is a way off from now so we can cross that bridge when we get to it. As long as we can remember how good everything feels now, it can be a great motivator down the road when things get tough once in a while.

Good job, Mike. I don't post a lot, I'm Sheyj from the January Bravehearts. I quit 12/27 cold turkey after 45 years. It's tough but it gets A LOT easier, A LOT. Hand in here!

Hi Vicki. Good to hear from you too! Yes you are right..3 months is a ways out ..maybe we will miss that icky 3. Having warm weather is a big help to me because I am busy outside now and not sitting inside away from the cold. I hope it is helping you. Today for the 1st time I did not think of smoking..shocked me but in a good way! Lets keep up our winning streak and keep our NOPE :). Have a blessed Friday and weekend.
