Hi again. How is your quit journey going today. I have in the past fallen for the just one attack. This time I am determined and you sound determined too.

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your sage advise! I think it is still the junkie thinking making me hesitate, however this quit I have vowed one day at a time, which basically, I spend time building up my arsenal to fight the demon for whenever he may enter my thoughts.
I am so very thankful each of the 37 days of not smoking, whether good or bad, because I am working it, one day at a time.

Hey Nomoresmokes
Im going really well - will be day 35 (yay 5 weeks) cold turkey for me tomorrow. Today I had huge periods of time where I completely forgot about cigarettes and smoking. And tonight on the long drive home I didn’t have any cravings
I think one of the major advantages to me personally (apart from the cost at approx $45AUD for a pack of 40) is that I’m no longer planning everything I do around smoking. I finished work at 6pm tonight, 45 minutes later than usual....6 weeks ago I was sprinting out of there at 5.15pm (with the monkey on my back) impatient to get the car on the freeway and the cig in my mouth! And I was a closet smoker too, so 10 times worse, I had to make sure no one I knew could see me...!!!!
So grateful for this forum and every smoke free moment

You are doing awesome, Belinda. Keep up the great work and the great attitude. It will get you were you need to go. One day at a time and NOPE are my daily mantras.

I am doing really well, Belinda. Going on 3 months and life is getting better each day. Still have the occasional desire, but I can tell the junkie within to take a hike. It feels wonderful to be off the hamster wheel.
