Do you start to regain some mental clarity after the 3rd month quit?

Hi Lainie,

I found the first couple of weeks very difficult. I really believe the only reason I stayed quit during that period was the support I received on this forum (from one guardian angel in particular).

It wasn't like the 3rd month flipped a switch or anything like that for me. After the first couple of weeks, things gradually got better and continue to do so. This is SOOOO worth it!!

Please remember that everyone is different, there is no rule as to how you should feel, or when, for that matter.

Hope this helps.

I think after about a month, you have a lot fewer of those punch to the gut days, Lainie.

Be kind to yourself! It’s one of the hardest but best things a person could ever do for themselves. And you are worth it.
