Yes this site has lost a lot of its voom! But, the pay it forward support is what counts. This is a wicked drug addiction and this site was my rehab back when was on the about.com site and now even though less active, it is still giving people support. Quitting with supports work and this site can and will help anyone stay on track through educating quitters as to what to expect as the weeks and months go by. It is my hope that more people get tuned in to this site as it can be difficult finding a good forum. If you've started your quit journey, just keep reading everything you can get your hands on to finally put cigarettes in the past where they belong.

Why do I feel like I had my hand slapped for speaking the truth in my post? I know others thought the same thing. If it was against the rules to call someone out then I apologize. I took ( insert name) post very personally. It was upsetting enough to me to make me want to go and smoke again. I didn't because I won't let an inconsiderate and rude person ruin what I worked so hard to achieve. There, now that's off my chest. Onward toward full freedom.

You did the right thing but sometimes we get in trouble for vocalizing ourselves BUT I'm proud of you for not letting Anything or ANYONE sabotage your quit. Don't let negative words, comments or criticisms make you chose those disgusting cigarettes. There were so many times I could have given up but I chose to stay quit no matter what crap came my way. I've inserted my foot in my mouth so many times over the years but oh well that's life. I hope you continue to speak your truth and stay a determined successful quitter. CYBERHUG!

I missed it alreadysick, but from what I’ve seen on this forum that you have written suggests to me that you’re a supportive, kind person. I’m so glad that whatever happened, you didn’t lose your quit. Hugs to you.
