Wet suit already??? Where did Summer go? Actually, that just made me think maybe I should take mine on my trip?? I’m wanting to go with just a carry on, so maybe not. 
 

Am on my deck now, and that Moon is the perfect ending to a crazy day. So lovely, up there shedding light. Is giving me the feeling I don’t really need any answers to much. Of course, I can’t remember what the questions are anyway, lol! Gonna take a short walk soon because the night is perfect. Still crickets out. 
Oh, bonfire sounds wonderful! Nice swim…cozy after by the fire. Does it get better than that? How are the pups?? 
Was doing some reading last night about wildlife in Portugal. Sounds like a lot of Boars. Sounds like they eat a lot of them too. Lynx, Wolves, lots of wonderful creatures there Peggy. Gonna look up birds tonight. Oh…glorious days ahead for sure. 19 days by myself, won’t know anyone, nobody will know me. So looking forward to driving around the country and exploring. Also read that gas is about equal to $7 a gallon. So…less than a pack of smokes! Sounds like most cars are smaller and get good mileage and most all manual transmission. Gonna be fun!

Beyond ready. Every day is harder and harder and I need a break. I’m afraid I’ll start to smoke again if I don’t go. When I’m logical and rational I know better. But it’s harder and harder to stay logical and rational 

You saw how close it was for me the other night..But I worked through it. Smoking is the most stupid thing Men kind ever did. Your break will be everything you need, especially in nature breathing cool clean air..

I just didn’t get that enough this Summer with the 2nd job and all the training. Now Summer is gone! But! Wowza. You see that Moon last night? Was even amazing still this AM at 6:30. 
You are coming over to the Left Coast soon, right??? Will you get to the Ocean? I have many fond memories of Laguna Beach and San Diego. Took a train from Detroit to Oceanside CA back in my yoot, lol. Met a Marine on the train and played cards the whole way. Had a blast. So so many people I’ve crossed paths with and wonder where they are years later. Ahhh. Those were the days! Smoked the night away in the club car. Took a train again in 2012 from Portland to Chicago but could no longer smoke on it. Was fine with that. Lots of changes are good sometimes.

Yeah, will be fun to have you in my time zone!

Oh, and yes. Close only counts in horse shoes and Tiddlywinks, so you my friend are just fine. Sail on. We will get each other more humps I’m sure. 

Im wondering what beach I can go to that is not far from LA and that is nice. I know the water is freezing, but I am dying to swim.

Any suggestions?

Im way up the Coast and I will still get in without my wetsuit for a short time. Maybe only 15 minutes or so. But so amazing and worth it!!!

That water down there would feel like bath water compared to the Oregon Coast. 
DO IT.

I will ask some friends from there. I’ve not been that far South in 20 years so I’m sure things change.
