Hey, everyone!!

Today marks 3 months as a nonsmoker for Maureen!!

Congratulations, Maureen!! I hope you are so proud (I know we are) and I hope you treat yourself today!!

I am sorry for getting this up so late in the day, I was hoping to add it this am.

I hope you enjoy the day!!!

Cheers!

Congratulations!!! You've moved past the icky 3's which is not an easy feat! Just keep that Quit Mindset as you struggle through this entire first year. This is a very sneaky addiction and it will tease you and try to seduce you back into it so be on guard and don't fall for it ever again. The struggle is worth it once you earn your freedom. Be very proud of your monumental achievement and keep on taking this One Day At A a Time. relaxed

Hi Maureen,

Congrats on marking your 3month anniversary!   YOU DID IT!

It absolutely does get easier but it will take more time. Just guard your quit and know you are 1/4 on the way to a year!

Great job!

Thanks so much Everyone!!!  It hasnt been easy but well worth it.    I am going to continue to take each day as it comes!  This week was so stressful and I must admit I was close on grabbing a smoke, but I knew it wouldnt help.

Hoping as time goes on it does get easier!..

Thanks all for remembering me

Great job, Maureen!!

Man I hear ya, not easy but you survived and hit 3 months!!!  So proud of you.  One day at a time girl!!

You are getting stronger everyday. Even though you may feel battered one day, the next is bright and new.  The important thing is you are hanging in there!!  You are rockin it!

Hi Maureen,

You are officially a warrior!  Congratulations....

You may not be feeling it right about now but you have absolutely been through the worst of it - stay with it for the best of it.  It's coming.  I was a mess at 3 months and sick of 'the process'.

3 MONTHS IS HUGE

Marge,

Thank you for your words of encouragement.  I read and re-read your post to keep me going. You are on the other side of this terrible addiction, and looking forward to being where you are.

Also, thank you for taking time out of your day to help us newbies.   I know it means a lot to me, and gives me  hope of actually beating this addiction this time around.

Thank you again

Thank you Peggy,

You are not to far behind me, so we can make it!!!  I have tried in the past to quit ,  I am hopeful with this forum I am able to beat the addiction this time around.

Hope you are doing well with your quit.  Hang in there!

PS. Im sorry you had posted to me about tax season.  Yes I prepare taxes and it was a nightmare this year.  It took all the strength I had not to smoke.  But I did it which gives me hope!   "HALT" ( a letter "S" should be added to that word for "STRESS").

Thanks again for your kind words

Maureen
