Hi Joel

Congratulations on 3 weeks! relaxedrelaxedrelaxed

I don’t know how to put dots and stars. There are instructions in the beginning of the folder of “Dots and Stars Milestones” from Mod Dee though that perhaps can help you. A dot is for each week and then after 4 weeks a Star is for a month. Also I don’t think you need to have a paid membership to post basic ones or pictures.
Thank you but I don’t think I’m a perfect example of a healthy life for many reasons. First one, a perfect example probably would have never smoked to begin with!

Im also not someone who can help much with learning to cook, lol! As I said, I don’t like it. Is your mom close to where you live? She would probably be thrilled if you asked her to teach you to fry eggs. I’m trying to teach my daughter but that is different in person than writing it out. Also she likes to cook! She is probably learning out of necessity, lol. I would say to go on YouTube! My guess is there are many videos on there for basic to advanced things for cooking. You can even learn how to fix a toilet or lawn mower! As well it is a good place to pass time during craves while watching funny animal videos. YouTube is priceless.

Congrats again on 3 weeks! It starts to get better now.

Oh, well no wonder you feel lonely there then. It can be hard to be away from friends and family. Still, what an adventure you are having! I look back and really wish I had done something like that at your age. You will surely not regret it! What is your native language?
Also, it is not set in Montreal but in Toronto, and there is a very fun show I loved watching on Netflix called “Kim’s Convenience”. I think you would like it! Very entertaining and light hearted and funny!
In the meantime look on YouTube Joel. You will learn tone a gourmet chef in no time on there! Lol!

Hi Lore..i am not lonely here.i stay with my friends here in an appartment that we rented. Indeed, i miss my loved ones  and i am planning to go back to my home after an year upon completion of the degree and then come back again for a job in the computer networks.I am legally entitled to work 20 hours per week  here which i do. 2 days of work and 2 days of online classes(due to COVID 19).The rest four days, we often go for road trips.. Within the last year, we have visited many places including Niagara Falls, Mont tremblant and numerous places in Quebec. A beautiful province indeed. Now the Winter is coming. I started smoking in winter last year so i doubt about the occasional cravings that i might face in the coming days. Not powerful enough to break my NOPE pledge though.

I will definitely check out Kims conveniance.Recently, i watched a netflix series 'The haunting at the hill house'. It was a great show.I really like horror and sci fi stuff.

I am glad to hear you’re not lonely. That would make quitting harder. It sounds as though you are having a good time balanced with work and studies. So do you think you will go back to Canada permanently after your visit with family? It’s been a long time since I was there but I do remember it as a beautiful Province. Fall is pretty with the leaves. Will this be your first Winter there then? To me that is a brutal season even though it too has a lovely side. I never want to live in that kind of snow again.
I used to read SciFi and have read some of the classics like the “Dune” series but don’t anymore. I will watch some but not much. I cannot watch Horror. At all. Or read it. I wonder if you will like Kim’s Convenience as it is neither of those but just fun sitcom. Let me know if you watch and like it. I found it pretty funny and it brightened my spirits! Also, did you cook today?

Hi Lore, i am not so particular when it comes to movies and tv series. I am a fan of horror and scifi for sure. But i do remember the movies that are fun and i quiet enjoyed them a lot. The diary of a wimpy kid 1,2 and 3.its so funny.. If you like fun, you should definitely watch it. Another movie i liked was project X.

Yes!i made Tuna sandwich today. I mixed tuna with Mayonnaise  and some pepper powder.. It was tasty but not delicious.

Oh, yum! Tuna sandwich! So good. Try with a little dried dill and pepper and capers. Mayo too. Use good bread with some Swiss cheese and maybe water cress if you can find it. If not good leaf lettuce will do. It is also good grilled with cheddar cheese and onions, called tuna melt.
I did love all the original Star Wars movies. Have not seen Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies but read the books with my daughter. They were very funny!

I might move if i get a permanent resident status in Canada. But i give more importance for a professional job. No, its my second winter here.. Infact i arrived at peak winter here.My body never experienced a temperature that is below 18 degrees. I felt like i am in a fantasy world when i saw the snow for the first time. Yes, its so cold in Montreal. Last time there were some days where the temperature dropped to -40 degree celcius. Its not pleasant.but i do like to grab a winter jacket and walk in the snow.

Snow is very pretty at night I think. Yes, I bet it was a shock at first. Just think, this year you do not need to go out and freeze and smoke! Yay! With those temperatures you need boots, hat, scarf, gloves. Maybe some cross country skis too!
