Hey there 30 day (31 days now) quit twin
Hope you got past y'day ok and are feeling much better now, just keep reminding yourself how awesome you are doing, think of all the positive stuff still happening to your body from a solid month of no nasty, smelly ciggies. Keep it up Lee

Congrats on 1 month quit, that is huge so make sure to give yourself a reward! Just stay away from those nasty things and those struggles will get less and less.

how are you guys doing? haven't been here for a couple of weeks.just past 4 months and 1 week. Had a couple of strong triggers this week interestingly, at social situations. I even looked at one abandoned pack that no one would have noticed if I took one and took it home with me ( not that they would mind about the cigarette just the embarrassment after I told everyone I am no longer smoking) . I thought about it for a few seconds. But ultimately there is way, I said no and I meant no. Hopefully this experience will make it easier to handle that kind of thing in the future. Keeping on.

Hi Lubber,
How are you? I have been sick, so not here much. I wanted to say hello and see how you were.

I am good, very very busy. I also have been sick but on the recovering side of the sick.....think it was the flu cause I tested negative for COVID but, just cold, coughing, aching junk!
Good to hear you are at 1 month now. Hoping your shoulder is feeling better? I just passed 14 weeks yesterday.

Well done Lee!!! You are a champion. You should soon experience some brief moments where you realize you have forgotten about smoking. Those periods will get longer and longer until they dominate your everyday life. It will come, but it does take time. Remember, you are retraining your body and mind into a new non-smoking lifestyle. Try to enjoy the process. It just gets better and better. I PROMISE.
