As usual I am late to the party but I am so grateful for you Denim for our years of friendship and encouragement. And now, you are hosting the Forum which is amazing... I was really sad to think it might come to an end since it was instrumental in my quit support. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you with this. I really try to check in more often than I have been and will put extra effort into it now since my "Quit Sister" is now the Forum master. You have helped me and so many others over the years, just know how much I appreciate you and this Forum and its members.
Hugs!

Hey Ed,
How wonderful to read you are at 10.5 months! I know you have it in you to stop. You got this!

Hey Quit-Sister,
Nope, you're right on time, as it's great to see you posting here any time. I'm so grateful for our years of friendship too and for your sweet message of support. Thank you! I didn't want the forum to close either and, thankfully, now it's not going to. Like you, I'm so appreciative of it and it's members. I'm also so appreciative of you too and of the support you've given to others here throughout the years, including myself. I'm so glad you're here. It's wonderful to have you back with us on the forum. That's great news and I'm looking forward to it.
Talk again soon. Hugs.
Have a great day.

Hey Ed,
Thank you so much! It's good to hear from you. I'm so glad your still going strong. That's great! Congratulations on those 10 smoke free months! 10 months is a wonderful achievement and I've no doubt that you'll reach your one year celebration in a month and half too. You can do it and I wish you all the best.
Have a great day.

You are so amazing! I picture you with a spreadsheet of every single member here and their quit date and any notable points. You are so spot-on every single time and offer so much support for each person that is going through whatever it is on whatever day. I wish I could offer the support you do but I will do whatever I can to support you on this forum. Quitting smoking is literally hell on earth but it can be done and you and I have proved that. You just let me know what I can do to help and I will when I can.
Love you and hugs my quit sister! I even re-signed up for a Delphi subscription for a year for you! <3

I wanted to echo all that have shouted out a great big Thank You to Denim for taking over. She was my MVP and hero over the last 4 years that I found this forum and saved my bacon. I quit smoking for me, but believe my success was due to all the quit friends I met within these posts and threads. Denim was always there with inspirational quotes that I sought out to carry me though the rough patches we all encountered with this addiction. She also stayed active carrying all those behind me.
I will try to stay in touch more often here and hope to hear back from from any friends who catch this post.
If you are new, read all you can regarding our mutual addiction and stay active on line here. I tried to quit many many times and succeeded one time, 4.5 years ago. The one thing I did differently my last time was to be active herein. I does get better, but only if you do not pick up another cigarette ever (NOPE). You all can do this.
GOOD LUCK TO DENIM

OMG Brian! I could not have said that better. We were such a close knit group for that year and it is so great to check back in when we can. Denim, you, Marilyn and so many others pulled me through so may horrible days that I just wanted to light up. But I didn't (and neither did you) and here we are today. I really hope we can give people inspiration that this can be conquered and life gets so much better without cigarettes. So proud that Denim is leading the charge of this Forum now...can't think of anyone better to do it. Hopefully I can do what I can to support her and everyone else here needing some encouraging words.
Hugs!
