Hey Dan!
Happy 3rd Anniversary!!! Wow…it’s crazy how time adds up really, isn’t it?
I read what you wrote to another new quitter about it always being today. I agree…I can’t stress enough the power of staying in the moment and not future tripping with the quit. It makes a world of difference.
Good to see you on here. Keep on wearing time out with the quit! It is amazingly liberating isn’t it?

Thanks so much Lore! It's great to hear from you.
I believe you also have a 3rd anniversary upcoming so congrats to you in case I miss it!
While I would love to be one of those people who just knows I won't ever smoke again I have never been able to get there even though I have just about zero desire to actually smoke. Taking it one day at a time works for me and isn't overwhelming at all.
You keep up the great work yourself and have a fantastic 2023!

Cheers to you Dan! It is so nice hearing you’re still smoke free and celebrating 3 years of overcoming the nicotine addiction. It was a hard fought battle and well worth it, I think. Good for you!
Happy New Year to you!

CONGRATULATIONS ANNE!!!
I’m so sorry! Not sure why but I though your date was at the end of January. Now soon as I write that, I believe that may be Eve. I did know you were coming on 3 years and was going to make a post just for you near the end of the month.
SO a HUGE Congratulations to you!! You have been such a steady force and support for folks on here and your wisdom and courage is really appreciated!!! I hope you celebrated with something really special, and perhaps some ice cream to boot!
Cheers going into year 4!

Congratulations Anne! As someone who couldn't go 3 days without smoking without it seeming like the worst thing in the world, 3 years is kind of surreal if I stop to think about it.
Keep it going one day at a time!
Dan
