yeah thanks for that. Im on day 2 and pangs of not smoking are slowly dying down.
I believe it causes anxiety. I had bad dream last night and then figured out it was anxiety, less then yesterday, but slowly dying away, I know its the cig causing that. Trying to make it through today.

Congrats on quitting -- I swear it gets easier, it gets better, and it is worth it to slog through the early days of quitting. One thing that helped me (a long, long, long time smoker) was telling myself that every crave I didn't give into was a victory. And every day that passed without a cigarette was a victory. As these victories happen, you get stronger and the addiction gets weaker. You can do this -- you ARE doing this!

You are doing so well. Keep on keeping on through the anxiety and all the rest of it. Gaining freedom from addiction is worth it. I am still using anywhere from 6-8 lozenges a day. I am not ready to quit yet, but I love reading about how others are fighting the good fight, and winning! You are great for not giving up. We all believe in you and know you are doing amazing.

Thanks. Yeah I know how it feels not to be ready. Thank you for the kind words and hope you have nice night.

No worries. I don't think anyone can ever be ready 100%. And if you are ready 100%, once you quit and have cravings, you may no longer be at that 100%. It takes real effort, determination and commitment. It is about choosing to not smoke time and time again. It has to be more than a feeling. It has to be a full on commitment. You have quit before for more than 2 years, so you do have the power to do it again. I encourage you to keep going. Good things come to those who are patient and diligent in their quest of the prize at the end of the rainbow!

Hey... I no longer smoke. I quit smoking in 2013. But I have been using lozenges for 10 years. It was supposed to be a 3 month quit program, but I basically switched from one poison to another, sadly. I smoked from 1993 to 2013.

I was told by my pharmacist that as long as I have no mouth issues I am fine. My doctor also told me not to worry about using them, but Idk, I still feel bad about using them, but obviously not bad enough because I continue using them.
