Something brought me back into this forum.  And I believe it was because I needed to see how everyone was.  I am very saddened to read that you have the big C, Miss Kitty!  I am so pleased that you are surrounded by your family at this time.  Rest peacefully Kitty!

Hello to Ernie and Susan!  Not sure you remember me but I check in every few years...lol.  Nothing new in my neighborhood, just keep having birthdays and getting grayer (well maybe silver).

I have passed the 12 year quit mark and all is good.  Sometimes get the urge but it's only for something to put in my mouth...lol.  Sugarless gum usually fills the spot but seems as if the food has been too much so I must get some more willpower and stop that!  I hate when the clothes are too tight!

Hey Kitty,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having to go through that. Sending caring thoughts to you and wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. Please continue to keep us informed. Like others here I want to let you know too just how much you have helped and/or inspired many of us on the forum, myself included. Also, congratulations on your new great-grandson. Thinking of you. Hugs.

Have a great day. relaxed

Hey Donna... Congratulations on 12 years quit. No mean feat. I chimed in with you here as you wrote about eating a bit more, which is the main reason I still suck on lozenges, the dread of putting on a few pounds. Ugh.

I am also addicted to looking a certain way and I worry about looking older. I will be 52 next month. Yikes!!! I am so vain.

I am trying to formulate a new picture of myself outside of the skinny and perfect image I have had stuck in my head for 10 years. Ugh ugh ugh.

I used to love Hollywood and pop culture and all forms of social media. I used to be very active on Instagram and a bit on Facebook too. There I built profiles with all kinds of cute photos of myself attached with beauty and wellness captions. I am no longer on either platform at this time.

I will figure it out one day at a time. Once again, big, HUGE thumbs up to you for sticking with your quit!

Keep up the quit Donna.  Glad to see you checking in.  Sad Kitty is ill and we lost Bonnie.

All doing well here.

Thank you, Donna for posting.  Of course I remember you.  You are our Canadian friend, but you also like to go to Mexico (south) as I recall.  I can understand you reasoning….the weather and cold has a lot of negative effects as we age….at least it does to me.  After a broken hip and a knee replacement, ice is NOT my friend.  I worry when conditions are bad and Finn must be taken out.

We owe our lives to so so many here on the Forum……Kitty, Bonnie, Pancake and others…….  God Bless them all for helping us.

Take care.  Nice to hear from you.  Susan
