Congratulations on 8 years! That is tremendous! I'm so touched you still have that image. 

I haven't been around in quite a while, but I thought I'd pop in. I celebrated ten years smoke-free earlier this month. I honestly don't know if I'd still be here if I hadn't quit then. I know of at least five of my quit buddies who still smoke-free. We owe our success to this forum and all the support and information we received.

Hello Andrea,

I saw your post and just had to stop in and congratulate you on 10 big years.  I have 8 years in and always had the 10-year goal in mind when I quit.  It seemed like an impossible task at the time but now it's very rare I ever think about a cigarette.   I have 8 years in at this time.

Congratulations on a decade!  A great decision that potentially saved your life and allowed you to go on to help so many people.  I know of no one from my original group.  A couple of them could still be quit but they went quiet.

Thanks for the time you put in on this forum.  Agreed 100%, I owe my success to the support I received from all of the amazing people here and the educational information that allowed me to see the light.

Thank you so much, Annie! It was a real pleasure to meet so many people in this forum.  Yours was my second group, and being a moderator helped me a lot in my second year of quitting.
