Hmmm. I finally found a beer that I like. I’ve tried many over the years and just accepted there is something in beer I don’t like. Then I tried this Portuguese beer called Sagres. I’m pretty sure it is an equivalent to something cheap and mainstream of ours, but I like it. All of that to say….Bottle. I also discovered that I really like Vinho Verde.
Sangria or plain wine

I was told that Trader Joe’s has a Vinho Verde. It’s a Portugal thing, green wine. It’s not actually green but has something to do with the particular region the grapes are grown, in the very North of Portugal. It’s really refreshing! If you can find it you should try it. Here a lot of people have it at breakfast . Dinner too, but….wine at breakfast…wowza.

Socks: short or taller

Wowza is right. Germans drink small beers for breakfast. I couldn't do that either.
Taller.
Sock color: solids or argyle

Argyle…or some kind of pattern
Sandals: yes or no
Yea, alcohol for breakfast would not bode well for my day. I’ll stick with coffee and sometimes OJ. Oh! Today I was in a coffee shop and a guy ordered a Bumblebee. Turns out that was a fresh squeezed OJ with a couple of shots of Espresso in it . Oh and it had ice…. I’ve seen some strange takes on coffee drinks here, lol!

Only at the beach.
Swim cap or not. Guess other than pro swimmers it's rare.
Not sure I'd like sure OJ & expresso, but it looks nice.

Yes, that’s it! It did look good…I might conjure up the nerve to try one. Kind of kills two birds with one stone, eh?
swim cap: no. Just braid it and go!
Swim in: pool or lake
Feb-3
Pool. I go in the water, but I barely swim. In addition to driving, many NYCers don't know how to swim.
Forward or backward diving.
Feb-3
The driving comment is hilarious, but…isn’t Manhattan an island?? How can one not learn to swim?? Diving is another matter entirely…forward only…
Surfing yes or no
Say YES Java! You gotta live!

No surfing, I'd fall and drown. I went snorkeling a few times in Aruba. That was fun but it was near the boat that brought us. Manhattan has no beaches. There are some in the other boroughs, but they aren't very nice. Few homes have pools. The public pools aren't very nice either. My parents both swam, they learned at the YMCA, but that wasn't a thing when my sister and I were growing up. But since you like surfing:
Surfboarding or bodyboarding.
