Peas. No sure I ever had soybeans plain.
Corn on the cob: boiled or grilled
Oh, you should try them! Trader Joe’s has some in the frozen section that are still in the pod with a bit of salt. Just thaw some in the fridge and then…enjoy! They’re good for you too!
I like the corn both ways but would pick grilled today with butter of course…
Corn on the cob: Parmesan or no
No, but only because I never had it. It probably is good.
Popcorn: buttered or caramelized.
Ohhh. Both! Ok. Butter…
Popcorn on stove or in microwave
Popcorn string: Make it yourself or purchase
Make it myself
Nuts-with or without shell
With shell. I remember my grandmother brining walnuts & chestnuts over. Told us not to use the nutcracker, since it was good exercise to break with our hands. Not sure that made any sense :)
Peanut or cashews.
WOW, Grandma must have had some strong hands! The only nuts I could crack open with my hand were peanuts and pistachios.
Pumpkin or sunflower seeds?
The concept was to use one to break another. She didn't like technology. Used a wooden spoon to make mashed potatoes and whipped cream. Told my bother a blender ruined food. :)
Sunflower, though I'm not sure I could taste the difference.
Granola or muesli.
Granola (I am from Portland, lol ) You can use a blender to make mashed potatoes??? I use this funny metal doohickey thingy by hand, I thinks it’s called a potato masher
Mashed potatoes: add some sour cream when mashing or no
