Morning Kitty. 60 here this morning so cooler than lately. Supposed to rain here again today, might miss us.
Glad the packing is going well, only a week and a half left on the island, right?
Found a similar piece of steering tubing from a different year and modified it to work. Was difficult to get it installed but hope it doesn't leak. I'm letting the sealant set so not putting oil in the system until today.
Have to take care of daughter's garbage and ours today. Think my meds are ready to be picked up also, takes a few days to get them ordered and get approvals for the ones that refills have run out. We will probably stop at Lowes and get some drain pipes for the drainage ditches I dug.
Have a great day Kitty.

Morning Susan. Glad you, Finn, and Jim are all doing well. My wife has flowers all around the pool she is always taking care of.
Last time I flew was in 2012 to a training course In Missouri. My wife hasn't flown since 1975 when we went into the Army.
Hope I've stopped the oil leak in my Subaru. My wife's car goes in for a new transfer clutch later this week, on warranty.
Have a great day.

Happy Anniversary Susan.......11 days to go and then we get in the car to head north....packing food so we don't have to stop except bathrooms and one hotel/motel stop.a friend did her trip and had purchased a TV dinner and used the motel microwave to cook dinner sounds like a good idea......2 long days...my back is getting so excited to sit in one place for 12 hours a day.....you flowers sound wonderful and am looking forward to being able to plant the perennials etc...plus the seasonal ones....haven't had a zinnia in a vase in so many years...hugs

Morning Kitty. It's blood test morning so I'm up early. Brandy always stays in bed until she hears me getting ready to go outside.
Must be sad leaving your home. We rented until we got here in 1980. It was a mobile home until that got destroyed by a tornado in 83, then we put this modular in.
It's cooler this morning since I'm up early, 62 right now.
I ate tv dinners a lot as a teen after my mom started working. Not good for us but I liked them.
Have a great day.

Morning Kitty. It's to bad you have so much packing instead of just enjoying your remaining time on the island. I haven't been to Florida since 66 or 67 and then I think it was the northern part. I remember palm trees, sand, wearing a t-shirt outdoors on Christmas day. I went for a walk and saw high concrete buildings, something I never saw.
I have to get up a little early tomorrow for my dr appt. I tried to get a PSA test included for cancer because it's been over a year. I know 2 men that had to have surgery or radiation because of that. They didn't get it added, said they would discuss it at the appt. I had a doctor for about 30 years, now I've had 4 in the last 10 years since he retired. They keep quitting to move on to something else.
I'm getting so tired of the medical community and prescriptions.
Have a great day Kitty.

sorry about your health issues and your supposed to stay well....and I do agree with the medical community.....large complexes now so very anonymous....I feel lucky to have the DR up north that we have...,.he was independent with an office and one other DR....and they became a complex with so many DR. the one that we have hated it and moved into a small office with one practitioner....makes such a difference...so we are all set up there....scripts? outrageous....close to done with the packing working on what will be needed for the time we spend at our daughters house....just the clothes needed until we find a house and have the pod.....and Christmas when it is in the 70"s with sand and green trees is something to experience....but this year we will be with family again....am looking forward to that...

Morning Kitty. Rained again last night. Got some excavating done yesterday but can't move for a couple days now. I have to go buy some more pipes and have more gravel delivered.
A long time ago I could call in and talk with my doctors nurse but now I get message people, at least they are people. I got a number this week I think goes to my doctor's office. Before the best I could do was get inside the building and they would forward me to the office.
I was only about 12 or 13 when I visited Florida, surprised I remember so many scenes from the trip. I remember we saw signs, for hundreds of miles, for some resort called Border or something like that.
When I order my prescriptions there is a menu button to push to get one renewed after it runs out. They quit doing it after you push the button so I have to call the switchboard and get a message to my doctor to renew it. So they have to have this done every month instead of every 3 months the way it was once and it takes a few days. I'm getting more healthy and hope to eliminate most of these meds.
Glad you packing is winding down, never again except for unpacking in the north country.
Have a great day Kitty.
