Morning Kitty.  Sad you twisted your ankle.  Glad your closing is going well.

I'm still working on the lawn.  I have to get some grass seed for parts of the lawn.

Got some more blocks for my little retaining wall, need more.

Woke early again, just head out on our walk early, 54 here this mrn.

Have a good day.

and I got up later and it is 61 here.....ended up going for an xray of the ankle to make sure it wasn't broken....and it is just soft tissue damage which takes longer to heal ...am back in the wheelchair for a couple of days....at least it will not delay the back surgery....if it had been broken it might have done that...  at least the sun shines....and your grass will grow.....

Morning Kitty.  Rained a little here last eve, been a while.  I have to get some grass seed down before we get a lot of rain.

Went to my daughter's yesterday and replaced the garage door springs.  Had to repair a split in the door.  One of my grandsons

pushed the button with both springs broken and it caused the metal to rip.  In the end I didn't get it to work.  The motor won't

run, just goes into error mode.  I will figure it out another day, was getting late and I can look up the problem on internet.

Sorry you hurt your ankle with your back already hurt.  I've never had a broken bone, would like that to continue.

Have a good day.

Morning Kitty.  Glad your ankle is feeling better.  Like that new song "The House Won't Fall if the Bones Are Good".

I got stuff to work on the lawn and car but didn't do much yesterday.  Looked up some ideas to try on my daughter's

garage door.

Looks like we got a little more rain during the night but should be dry enough for me to plant grass seed later in the day.

Have a good day.

glad the "bones are good".....we had a small amount of rain last night...but Ct. is at high risk for wildfires......don't ever remember Ct being in that situation before...today is cloudy...hope it rains a lot more....no agenda for our day....maybe I can dream something up........

Morning Kitty.  Got some grass seed in but need more.  Won't get it in before the rain.

Starting at 8 AM.  We will just barely get our walk in.  Half inch to two.

Closing on your house tomorrow and then back surgery, busy.

I'm away from doctors until blood test in January.  Trying to get my glucose readings down

without one of my expensive powerful meds, not there yet.

Have a good day.

Hi Kitty ~

An exciting day for you and Brian as you do a walk thru and closing.  Quite exciting!  I'm guessing that the fall leaves are turning colors in your area.  Very little color here.   Hoping that all of the rain that we had yesterday (badly needed) will reach you today.  Temperatures now and the rest of the week in the 50's and 60's.  Fall is in the air.

Corn stalks, pumpkin and burgundy mum plant in place.  Enjoy the day.

Hi Ernie...

58 degrees (feels like 56) according to the Weather Channel.  Much needed rain yesterday.....grateful for God's water.

Working on bills and delaying flights....ugh......in addition to washing fall slacks.  What do they say?  Hmm.  A woman's work is never done!  Amen.  Often wish the laundry room was NOT on the second floor.  Knee greatly improved with a few rounds of Prednisone.  Can't stay on that for very long......so the pain is back.

Have a great day!  Fall is here for sure.   Susan
