Morning Susan. Sorry you are in the virus thing. Don't know if I've been near anyone with it.
Snow and very gusty winds this morning here. Supposed to improve Tuesday and then have a
nice week. Probably the same for you and Kitty. We're all in the same storm fronts and jet stream
now.
I went down to the mall for early voting but there was a line even in the rain. I will go up to the
fire station 6 AM Tuesday and hope no line, if there is I will wait. Had to stand in lines a lot in the
military and don't do it now unless I can't avoid it.
Brandy was sore but she's over it, hope Finn is well.
Have a good day.

Our day started out a bit strange...the sun was rising on the front of our home....and it was snowing to the west...so I stood looking at our view/ with sun shining on the hill and the snow coming down fast....strange now it is just sun partly cloudy......I started out with an old wringer machine and a clothes line.......cold....sheets were frozen on the line before I finished hanging them...so yesterday we found out that the dishwasher isn't working right and it is 15 years old...so went to buy a new one after some research....the store didn't have the model we wanted so Brian will wash the dishes for now....(I still can't stand that long...) doing better but still some pain.....

Hi Ernie ~
Very chilly this a.m. Supposed to warm up mid week. We transplanted some rose bushes and a hemlock tree, so the rain has helped to settle them in the soil.
Off today for the COVID test. Jim awaiting results but I'm inclined to think that he does not have the virus. Certainly not acting "sick"....an occasional cough.
On we go. 6:00 a.m. up with the roosters and voting...I hope there is no line.....

Dear Kitty ~
Do you have "land" and woods at your new home?
We had gale force winds all day yesterday and last night. Toppled our neighbor's umbrella and table and bird feeder over. Now, just cold......... My blood is not use to this yet. Time to get out the down coat....
COVID test today. Hope it doesn't hurt....

Hello all, I don't write much but I do hop in here once or twice a month and catch up with you cyber friends. Real happy to hear that Kitty is doing so well after her surgery and moving into a house and all. Can;t wait for some pics when you are ready. Weather, well, up here in Alberta Canada, we just got rid of our October snowfall. We had full ground cover and this week we had temperatures in the teens (C). Today we are to reach a high of 20C (68F). BUT, then we downslide once again. It was very nice to have a reprieve cause we have had some very low temperatures.
Wow, Susan, your gut was sooo right on not going to that party. Hope that you and hubby don't catch it. We are well and I don't know anyone who had it but we always play in safe anyhow. Tomorrow is your big day! It will be interesting to see the results of your election. I think DT is an a$$ but I am not sure that the other is very friendly with Canada and their oil and gas problems, etc. We will see!!
Carolyn, great to see that you pop in here as often as I do! lol
And Ernie, I see you are a busy body just like my hubby! Always on the go and doing stuff! Wish I had that much energy. Me, I like to paint and actually look forward to cooking different meals for supper. So different than when I was working!
Keep staying heathy gang!

Morning Kitty. Always seems strange to me when I see a storm coming.
Think Our last dishwasher was 19 years old. Was still working but we
bought one when our sears store was closing. We had repaired it couple
times. Wife doesn't want me doing dishes anymore. She washes them
before putting them in the dishwasher like many do I've heard.
A clothes wringer machine must have been the one with a tub and two
rollers to put them through. We had one when I was little, remember it well.
Hope feeling well and have a good day.

Morning Susan. Hope the test wasn't too bad. I've heard it's no fun.
I don't plan on finding out. My neighbor says everyone is going to get
the virus. I'm inclined to agree with him but maybe not. I'm sad for the
people that are dying with it.
There were long lines at our early voting places even in the rain on a weekday.
I'm going up to the fire station in a few minutes. Hope no line like in the past
early in the morning.
Have a good day.
