Good morning....a warm 20 degrees here this morning....partly cloudy...daughter invited us for lunch which will be nice.....had a pretty sunrise for about 20 mins before the clouds rolled in....otherwise a quiet day and hope yours is lovely
Jan-24
Morning Kitty. 4 degrees here this morning. Going down south to the farm this morning.
Tomorrow is taking care of garbage and Wednesday have to take my Baja in for a recall
for the second time on the same airbag. Farm house has to be cleaned up a little before
they drown in garbage. I put fix a flat in one tire that's been leaking slowly yesterday, then
drove around a little to try to seal it up. Drove on some of Brandy and I old routes.
Still working on the vhf amplifier but think I will for a while. Testing, adjusting inductor coils,
studying, learning. Not an easy thing to accomplish.
Feel bad for Susan and Finn. Finn's getting old and they both have to live through it. Lost our
Brandy a few years early to cancer.
Hope you enjoyed lunch with your daughter. We have some pretty sunsets and sunrises. I'm
still not doing much outdoors, just getting Baja ready for the trip. Got up to 29 here yesterday.
Have a good day.

Good evening, Miss Kitty ~
Most unusual for me to be signed on in the evening and posting so late. Jim attending an AA meeting and dinner. I thought I may go to our annual HOA meeting but the idea of going out in the cold and snow with 8-10 inches on the ground, just didn't appeal to me. So, I ate a bowl of home made chili and will revisit the last session of The Crown tonight.
If the weather keeps up and it is supposed to, I will be more than ready to head to Siesta Key mid February. I hold fond memories of the time spent at your home, lunch at Captiva and the walk to your beach. We really were fortunate that year to have very warm temperatures. I hope we are as lucky.
Take care. Stay well and safe. My Pulmonologist told me that despite the vaccine and booster, they are seeing patients getting COVID. Advised me to take the Booster in another three or four months. I feel as though it may never end! ((hugs)) Susan

Good morning Susan and Kitty. Warm 24 here this morning, snowing on and off.
I went to the farm to clean yesterday and drove back on snow covered roads, my
first experience doing that this Winter. Was tricky at first.
That's gotta be great going on vacation to Florida. I remember you going down to
visit Kitty. Also, the shells she was shipping.
I need to venture out again today to take care of everyone's garbage, then Wednesday
for a Subaru airbag recall. Otherwise it's very cold lots of days and I don't go out much.
Have a great day all.

The pictures.....and here I sit with a cloudy...26 degrees.....day.....take me back...LOL have a great day
Jan-26
Good morning Kitty. Yeah, back in the cold front again. Have to venture out to take the
Baja in for it's recall. At least I didn't have to buy a used truck at the prices they're getting
right now. Like the Baja too.
Took care of garbage and talked to one daughter for a while. Shoveled the few inches of
snow from our driveway before I left. Then helped a grandson shovel their driveway. Our
daughter made two pizzas for them just as I was leaving. She had her jewelry polisher running
in the bathroom because it's so noisy.
Had to work on the little heater I have for my little area of the basement so didn't get any work
done on the amplifier, needed a break anyway. Borrowed a different one from my daughter
while I fix this one.
Thought you would like the Florida pictures. My sister is down there now until April, I think.
This is her 6th day there.
Having good days here, feel so rich with my life. Glad you are having good days.
Ernie
Baja before all the snow.
Jan-27
Good morning Ernie and everyone....very quiet here...it is up to 4 degrees was below 0...when I got up...no agenda which is okay.....have a wonderful smoke free day....
Jan-28
Good morning Kitty. We do have a warming trend here next week, most likely at your
place also. 30s, 40s, and maybe 50s, rain comes with the 50s though. Possible flooding
with the foot of snow we have on the ground.
My non smoking years and the Subaru both coming up on 15 years. Cocoa born then is
no longer here though.
Worked on my little area heater for my space in the basement yesterday. Got it working
but not as good as it should. Little squirrel cage fan in it gave out. I put a little cooling
fan in it. Also sent pictures of the sub assemblies of the amplifier to a guy in California
that's done what I'm trying to do. Says he can help me.
It's Friday and we all have the weekend off so things are looking up.
Enjoy the day, we will.

Hi all sitting here waiting for the big storm probably after we go to bed..../everyone stay safe.....
Jan-29
Good morning Kitty. We've been watching the storm. Supposed to miss us this time, just a
little lake effect snow after the front moves out. After the 48 inches last December, we don't
need another. That storm cost us some money for ruined stuff and repairs. Think 1993 was
the one previous to that one in our area.
We went out and got birdseed, paint for the kitchen and dinning room, and an electrical plug
yesterday. Ate at our favorite diner yesterday. Wind chill warnings so probably will stay home
today. Just no need to go out in the cold, supposed to warm up next week.
Managed to get in a good conversation with my brother on the radio last night for over an hour.
I'm sure Brian can get you dug out of the storm, much easier than building a rock wall.
Enjoy the day.
