Wonderful to hear from you again! Thank you and big congratulations to you too!  Your half way to exchanging that lovely key for wings. Hope you and your family are well. So far, so good with us. I’m so glad we joined when we did. It’s been a bit of a rough year and half for everyone with the pandemic going on. The numbers are going up again here. I hope things are a bit better there. I need to get the lawn cut but I wanted to take the weekend to relax, so it’ll have to hold off until the coming week. Hopefully it won’t be too overgrown by then, lol. I’m going to send you a pm later today, so look for that if you would. Thanks. Have you heard from Cheryl recently? I hope she and Asad are doing okay too. I’m going to post in the Mar. ‘19 thread a little later on today too. Even with everything going on, I have to say, this year seems to be moving on fairly quickly. I need to go to town to pick up something right quick, then I’ll be back on the forum to post some more, then spending the rest of the weekend at the house. Please keep in touch as you get a chance. Lovely to hear all your news.. so far so good here - we are now being let out more but because my husband is vulnerable, we are still being very careful.  I am glad we are both retired because it means we arn't letting our employers down.  The hardest part of the lockdown was not seeing our grandchildren for a very long time.  Thankfully now we are back in contact so lots of hugs and contact again.  

I posted in March 19 thread each time we reached a mile stone and heard from Asad last March - nothing from Cheryl for a while though... i am guessing they dont come here very often nowadays but it would be good to hear from them - i have notifications by email, so keep an eye on who is posting.

I am so glad we gave up before covid and I do feel so sorry for those quitters who have been trying to during this awful time.  It must have taken an awful lot of strength to quit whilst being confined to home during the pandemic and I take my hat off to them... well done to all of you who have gone through this

Anyway, great to hear from you again - i often think back to those early days and your name pops into my head :)

thanks!  LOL!  am doing this!  it is very comforting to find...folks still here from my last time...seriously...very important...and to know they were successful ....i think the hardest part of having the month of quit...is when we all fail together...so conversation gets hard...because you are trying to protect your quit...but sometimes hard to be supportive to others.....not to say am planning to to fail...

just reflecting...that there are some that quit smoking every day or two...and  uhmmm...I dont know how to process that...i do dig deep...cause my quit...isnt about anyone here on the forum...it is about me...not wanting to be my mom...and the path i was on...i was definitely on the path to being her!    

Denim...I have no way to personally message you...just have my concerns...as i think most of the admin have moved on...I get it...cause i have my days since i quit...of i aint got nothing to say...i am good moments...lol...but the admins in the group seem to rather quiet all the way around...not that has anything to do with me smoking.....

To send me, or anyone on the forum, a personal message (private message). Simply click their name located beside From: on any one of their post. A box will open that looks like this:  

Click Send Private Message. Another box will appear that has a space to write your message in. Below that space will be two option buttons, Delete conversation and Send If you’re finished, click send, then simply exit/close out. If a person, such as myself, sends you one, to see if you have any awaiting messages to be read look at the top right hand side of of the forum page. You’ll see a double digit counter next to your profile picture. 

You’ll see the number of any new messages to you appear there. Click it and another drop down menu box appears.  

Click Private Messages and Notices. A window opens titled My conversations and you’ll see the message to you there. Under the message, in the message box, you’ll see Show All, click it to display their entire message to you. Once you’ve read it you’ll see a window box below their message to reply to it, should you choose to do so and click send. After you reply, or choose not reply. You’ll also notice options boxes there to delete the conversation, show all conversations, or close (meaning to simply exit out). Much like your email, all messages/conversations are saved until you delete one or all of them. Hopefully I’ve explained this easily, none the less I’ll leave a link to Andrea’s explanation of it for you too.

I’m going to send you a pm so that you can try it out. Remember to look at the top right for the message indicator and it should show 1 . Indicating you have 1 new message. Give it a go and we’ll talk more in just a bit.  
P.S. Anytime you want to go back and read any saved conversations just click the same double digit counter next to your profile picture and click Private messages and notices again and it’ll bring them all back up, except of course those you’ve deleted.
