Hey Tom,

I'm happy to hear you're doing well. That's terrific. I think it's great that you and your friend can share a place and split the expenses, especially now. The prices of everything have been skyrocketing like crazy. It's nice that you can both keep your pets too. There's so many that need good homes. I hope his cat and your kittens get along. I don't have any pets. The last ones to go were some catfish. Had them over 10 years but it was a terrible winter storm that did them in. I'm glad the apartment has a garage for your motorcyle too. Good luck to you both. I hope you get the apartment.

Spring will be there before you know it but personally I can't say I'm looking forward to it. The list of things I need to do this spring is already growing and it hasn't even got here yet, lol. Nonetheless, I'm sure you'll be out and about on the bike before too much longer and it still sounds like such fun.

Have a great day. relaxed

Congrats to all!! FIVE YEARS!! Can you believe that time has passed this quickly, especially when we were out of cigarettes?!

I am so glad I hooked my wagon to such fine people that helped in my recovery from that addiction. I was thinking the other day on how good I feel not smoking. I can no longer imagine how I would feel, coughing, smelling, ashy, broke, etc. from smoking. How great that is.

Hope all are doing well and are enjoying the improved health we won with so much effort. It was not easy, but sure was worth it.

Take care and we can always stay in touch through this valuable forum.

Thank you Brian for your message and your friendship over the years.  You are up next my friend!  So happy we are all still here together!

Hey Brian,

Today’s your amazing day to CELEBRATE! BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU TODAY! relaxedtada I hope you do something to celebrate your terrific accomplishment and this great milestone, and I hope that you have a day as awesome as you are!

We made it! Marilyn, Feb. 25, Me, Cindi, and Mike, Mar. 9, Tom, Mar. 19, and you today!

I'm so happy for us all and so glad that we all, not only started out and held on together through the ride (roller coaster) as quit-buddies, supporting one another, but also that we've stayed together (in touch) through life's journey that has followed as good friends, and that our little group and neighboring friends are still posting here five years on. So, proud to be celebrating these wonderful five year celebrations together in 2023. Love to you all.

"WAY TO GO BRIAN!"

Have a great day. relaxed

Thank you so much for the shout out. I cannot believe it has been 5 years, but here I am. I really do not think much about smoking these days but can certainly remember those first few weeks and months. Being a 40+ year smoker I had tried to quit many times in the past, but found my success through this forum and the support from quit buddies.

I leaned on others until my magic kicked in and the longterm habit subsided. It took daily faith in others that as long as I did not smoke it would get better. I posted daily to remind myself that I just needed to quit for the day and not look too far into the future and the days built up.

Thank you again for your congrats and lets keep on keeping. Love being smoke free.

Hello My March Warrior friends!

Congratulations on 5 years!  I remember following your group so closely when I started 5 months after you in 2018 and wished so much I could have been at the 5 month mark like you all.  And here we are.  From 5 months to 5 years.  Thank you all so much for being supportive when I first started.  You all helped me so much and I appreciate it!  Enjoy you're wings!
