So it's been 13h since your last cigarette? Wow you're on your first day then! The first days are the worst for me! Hold tight!
I'm on my seventh day still!
I worked out like crazy for the first few days! I also ate a lot of oranges. Still eat at least one orange a day. They help curb cravings and suppress appetite. Plus citrus help you flush nicotine out of your system.
I've had quits where in the first few days I had fevers, shakes, cold sweats, a nightmare. So I searched ways to make these symptoms less aggressive.
I also try to have a quick shower whenever I have a craving if I'm home. It helps me.

Thank you it's kinda weird I'm only at 3 weeks and once in awhile I think of those death sticks but I don't really have any cravings. Heat warning in Arizona so I'm stuck in house but did go to YMCA this morning. How long has your quit been.

Before I retired it was about a half a pack. Retired in April started smoking too much and tried to quit.

I get cravings sometimes. At key moments like when I was supposed to go on a smoke break, and after dinner I get a dozen. It's great that you don't have them!
I'm on day 7 still.

The poison is out of our bodies now. Now we have to fight the brain and junkie thinking. Good luck we are going to beat this demon.

What a terrific way to get back on track, Ginger!
Returning to the Y, too, is excellent. You are on your way!
Hugs,
Andrea
