I agree, Kevin's quit story is motivational, and admire how he stuck with his quit and positive role models sure play their part, so glad I am part of this community.
Kind regards

Kevin's entire story was on the old forum called Aboutquit.com and he went into detail of his experiences. I was determined to stay quit after reading his story. If he could quit fighting in Afghanistan under that kind if stress then surely I can do it here. He was a hero to so many people and helped so many quitters stay quit by telling everyone to take back control and don't let that nicotine monster win. This is an all in fight for freedom no being wishy washy about quitting. Just keep going no matter what crap this drug addiction throws at us. His words helped so many stay quit and I'm proud to be one of his success stories.

Yes Debbie, Kevin fought two battles at a time..the nicodemon battle and the deadly battle in the warfield. He is quite a role model in every aspect of life.

Hi Joel,
Four days quit going into my fifth, all's good Missed a patch for a few days, but put a new one on this morning so I don't put myself under undue pressure, taken it one day at a time and hoping for the best. I am 71 yrs of age and have had numerous quits, trying to make this one stick. Smoked for 40 years have spent most of this year quit, longest quit this year was 10 weeks. I am married and my partner is a smoker, makes it hard when they're in the house all the time, I just have to keep my distance, partner smokes outside. Good luck with your quit
Kind regards
Anthony

Hi Anthony
Congratulations on your fifth day!you are doing great.Having a partner who smokes is really a challenge..i hope she too will quit for good.i have no much life experience as you.i have been smoking for 1 year and i recognized its taking control over my life.i am 26 year old.i believe even if its one year or 40 year of smoking, with right attitude and commitment, the effort of quiting might be equal and we can enjoy the freedom from this addiction that we will recieve in the coming days.keep connected.
Kind regards
Joel
