Hi Joel,
Maybe easier to write here and then things don’t get lost with the ones you don’t know. So you are 19 days now? That’s fantastic!
Oct-10
Good morning Joel!
Gald you are feeling happy! I’m feeling pretty good but could have slept more. It is a rainy day here now and that always makes me want to nap. I’m glad I don’t smoke now and am constantly thinking about the next one in the rain.
Oct-10
Yes Lore, i am very glad you are enjoying the freedom from the damn addiction. Here, its the fall and its the most beautiful month of the year. I have classes online and we are actually 4 members doing an integration project in computer networks and security.we might have some drinks in the evening but i am pretty sure i wont smoke again. I dont want those miserable days again. And you like to take small naps? Me too. Its very peaceful.
Oct-11
Yes, naps are the best. I am working this weekend so naps. Took a lot early in my quit and it really helped. Be careful with the drinks. It seems to be the downfall for a lot of folks. I don’t drink really so that is not a connection that was hard for me.
Have a nice day tomorrow!

Today is rather a peaceful day Lore. I think a nap is neccesary today.. How are you feeling today?Do you make food? Can you suggest some healthy food that i can make easily
Oct-11
I’m feeling tired after a long work day. Healthy food is good when not smoking. I pretty much stopped eating sugar when I quit, but didn’t eat too much even when I smoked. I’ve always been a healthy eater, thank goodness. I cook out of necessity and rarely enjoyment. It is a chore I don’t care for. So for me, it is easy to make some eggs with vegetables and maybe some cheese. Tuna sandwich is a favorite of mine too. I like simple food that is to prepare without a lot of added stuff and eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit and love dairy products too. Ice cream is considered healthy to me for the calcium! Lol!

Wow.. Thats great.Lore you are a perfect example for having a healthy life. Eggs with vegetables with cheese seem delicious. Can you explain the detailed process of making them. I really dont know cooking. So i will start with easier ones. I do know how to make a cup of coffee and make a bullseye.
I hope you have a great day. By the way its my 21 st day of quitting. Have i achieved any dots or stars? I dont have a paid membership here. I cant post photos or gifs. So i want you to give me dots or stars if i have achieved that will be a motivation for me in this journey.

Hi Joel
Congratulations on 3 weeks!
I don’t know how to put dots and stars. There are instructions in the beginning of the folder of “Dots and Stars Milestones” from Mod Dee though that perhaps can help you. A dot is for each week and then after 4 weeks a Star is for a month. Also I don’t think you need to have a paid membership to post basic ones or pictures.
Thank you but I don’t think I’m a perfect example of a healthy life for many reasons. First one, a perfect example probably would have never smoked to begin with!
Im also not someone who can help much with learning to cook, lol! As I said, I don’t like it. Is your mom close to where you live? She would probably be thrilled if you asked her to teach you to fry eggs. I’m trying to teach my daughter but that is different in person than writing it out. Also she likes to cook! She is probably learning out of necessity, lol. I would say to go on YouTube! My guess is there are many videos on there for basic to advanced things for cooking. You can even learn how to fix a toilet or lawn mower! As well it is a good place to pass time during craves while watching funny animal videos. YouTube is priceless.
Congrats again on 3 weeks! It starts to get better now.
