Wow..sincerely, Lori is more cute than Lore. I prefer to call you Lori.. Is that ok?Your mom gave a sweet name to you. Lorelei is really a cute name. I wonder why do you had troubles as a teenager carrying this beautiful name?

You can call me either joe or joel, which one you prefer?

Wow.. Daughters name gonna be one of the prettiest names. No doubt in that. Yes!looking forward to hear her name on her 18th birthday and by that time i will be 5 months smokefree!long way to go.

Lori is fine, but why do you like it better? Haha! Well, teens are mean Joel and there were many ways the name was used and it made me mad. Plus the band STYX came out with a song by that name and it didn’t help. Anyway, whichever you prefer! Yes, my mother was wise and it was chosen to settle an argument and finally give me a name. She really loved it. Also it was long to spell on school work, lol! My Daughter and Stepson call me Loreficent. They love that. And they say “momma” too. Now my daughter’s girlfriend is calling me “Mom” and it is funny. Oh boy.
I like Joel so if it doesn’t matter I will use that. I like Joe too though!

Lori seems more feminine and cute than Lore. It might be personal preference when it comes to names. The perception of names changes from places to places too. For me, luckily my parents put a biblical name and it has an English touch too. There is an actor named Joel Edgerton too you might be aware of. the names in my local area might be so wierd for a foreigner. So you are a proud Momma right? You have all the reasons to be.Had your dinner?

Yes, names are fascinating. Their origins and meanings and different cultural meanings. I will look up this actor! Yes, I had a great big fat baked potato with butter AND sour cream and a salad with a ton of things like olives and tomatoes and peppers and onions and some cheese and walnuts....and wait for it...chocolate milk!! Haha. Oh I don’t know just what to do with this chocolate milk addiction I’ve developed! I am drinking a quart a day! Tomorrow I’ve said I’m going to cut back to half. I actually got some today by the same dairy that has Ginger and Turmeric in it. That may sound gross to some, but, actually it is pretty good and hopefully not a new addiction! Is this because I am replacing cigarettes? Is it that it is comforting for Fall? Truthfully I am just a little worried, not much. The chocolate one does have sugar though. The Ginger one does not. Hopefully it is just a phase and will pass soon. But then I wonder if it means my body is in need of something, like the calcium maybe? Honestly...it comes in a glass quart bottle and I have not even been pouring it into a glass but just drinking from the bottle! I have become a milkaholic! joy
Yes, I am a proud Momma. Aren’t most mommas this way? They should be. Kids need support and need to be believed in. They need to know we have faith in them. I got very lucky. She is naturally kind and gentle hearted. And she is very adventurous and strong too, which I adore! Now it is time for me to walk. I love peaceful night walks. Especially dry ones. Hope you got some exercise today too!

Potatoe with butter and sour cream.. Feels so good!you always eat healthy.i would better fry those potatoes and season them with bit of salt, oregano, and a bit of garlic powder. You are getting old Lorie..  You need calcium to strengthen your bones.drink as much as you want but control the sugar though.. You could drink plenty of chocolate milk with less sugar.. I think such products will be available in market.

For some reasons, i relate you to my mom Lorie. First of all, my mom doesnt like horror and stuff like you. She also enjoys sitcom entertainers like you. and secondly, she too is fond of milk, not chocolate milk though.i am so glad to hear about your daughter. As your daughter, she will definitely have love and compassion which is very rare to find these days.i hope you enjoyed the night walk. I am getting lazy.. I need to exercize often..

Good morning Joel!

Oh, you crack me up! I see you have found a way to combine the spelling and have it “Lorie”. I like it! I hope this a good thing to remind you of your mom...? But you are also very funny telling me I am getting old! stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye I used to tell people I would be 27 in perpetuity as I loved being 27. Something seemed to awaken at that time for me and it was wonderful. But now...I think I will say 43 in perpetuity as this suits me best. The 40’s I think definitely by far the most wonderful. It is hard to imagine when in the 20s to be in the 30s, and 40s and so on, but it happens. And it is funny because after a point, even if the body is showing some signs, the mind and heart are the same. Age in many ways after a point becomes really just a number I think. Only important for some physical things and has nothing to do with age of the heart or spirit or mind. Oh boy. This is getting away from me and deep, but you know what I mean, yes?

Yes...controlling the sugar is very important. I might start to make my own chocolate milk and see if I can get it just right. I make Kombucha now and drink this too. I am very addicted to it and love making it. Sometimes it is like a science experiment! Lol!grin Have you tried it yet?

Good afternoon Lorie! I am so happy you like 'Lorie'. Yes!someone said 'life begins at 60 right'? Its so true! As long as we are living in the moment, age is just a number.i believe as we get older, life gets more meaningful. Is that so?Wow.. 27!there is something so special that happened to you in 27!that must be adorable. It gives you chills right??i could somehow feel how 27 would be but 43,it might be entirely different right? Is  43 more relaxing and peaceful than 27?is it more romantic??If you ever had a chance to go back to 27,will you dare to go..?

Kambucha? I am hearing it for the first time Lorie. What is it?

Yes, i should start exercizing... I am glad that i didnt add up weight after quiting smoking. Its almost a month now????

Way to go Joel!! Strong work! muscleclapraised_hands

Oh my, haha! I do not know about life beginning at 60! That is far off and I hope to get there and let you know! As a NON smoker the odds of this are much better.
To be truthful, no...I would not go back. Only and maybe only IF I could really know what I do now. But that would spoil the journey!
As far as more peaceful, yes. I think I’ve learned to relax more with most things and realize that most things in time, work out, and so yes, this brings more peace. As far as romance? Well, that too is ageless maybe. I will say that as we get older we find many other things almost as equally fulfilling. Like chocolate milk!joy
Mostly...I don’t want to waste any more years of my life smoking and I do think as we get older this becomes more clear as we stop seeing ourselves as invincible.

So, Kombucha! Yes. Look it up first. Then go to your local maybe health food store and ask and they will show you where it is. It should be in a cooler. There are kinds with alcohol and kinds without. I make and drink the without. Basically, it is a fermented tea. It is fermented by what is called a SCOBY. This looks like a bit of a slimy pancake that floats on top in the jar. You make tea, make it sweet with sugar, then the SCOBY eats the sugar and ferments the tea as it goes. You end of with bubbly tea and you can also do a second ferment and add flavors, of pretty much anything! I also make a kind that is called “Jun” Kombucha so look that up too. It is my favorite now. You have to use raw honey instead of sugar and I love the honey taste it leaves! You also have to be careful because you can ferment it too long and it explodes! Hahaha!
