Yesssss! Do we have a MOD now???
Thank you thank you thank you Cindi!!! Wow. Denim and you are amazing to give your time, support, encouragement, and love to this Forum. You make a huge difference in people’s lives. Thank you so much!!!

Thank you so much Lore and I am so honored to be asked to be in this position. I really hope I can make a difference just like ModMarge, ModDee, ModSue and so many others did for my first year or so. I'm going to try my best to be a great support system for everyone here.

You already have Cindi. Huge difference and support even before becoming a Mod. I remember you well from my earlier days and that was over two years ago now. I would never have made it this far without my Forumily and the support I received and still receive here. It’s been said kicking nicotine is harder than kicking heroin. I’ve not been addicted to that so I can’t say personally, though my Aunt was a heroin addict and off of it for over 20 years before quitting cigarettes and she said that is true. I do very much believe that unless one has been on this journey personally, they just don’t understand it. Having the support and encouragement of those who have gone before us makes all the difference.
Quitting smoking can make one feel as if the world is off it’s axis a bit for a while. Having the grounded, non judgmental support we get from you and of the other oldsters along this path is such a comfort.

Good morning Gayle,
I hope you are doing well. Tomorrow is such a big day for you! We will all be thinking of you and sending that good energy your way! You are in very capable hands and I’m sure they will take the best care of you. Come back when you get the chance and let us know how you are.

Thanks for thinking of me, Lorifecent
Feeling very nervous today. Need to be at the hospital at 5:45. Worried more about the nicotine withdrawal than the surgery. Am scheduled for same discharge, my doc says that if I can get up from the bed, I can go home. Fortunate to have a husband to help me, a friend of mine went through the whole thing on her own.

Gaylesybil,
You are in my thoughts for tomorrow and sending good vibes for a successful surgery and quick recovery. Please let us know how everything goes.

Hey Gayle,
Thinking of you and sending so many good thoughts and wishes to you. I'm so glad you have your husband there to help you. I'm also sorry that your friend had to go through it alone. I'm sorry too that I'm late replying. I've not been feeling too good recently. Nonetheless, as Lore said, you have a lot of good energy being sent your way today and we're all looking forward to hearing from you again soon, so please let us know how you're doing.
Have a great day.
