When shy'thole countries do not know how to build its own infrastructure, do not know how to build their own medical care, its own schools, its own buildings with sanitary commodity, it's own transport by air or by sea, its own respect for women and children - always relying on other countries to help them out - what is it called?

Actually what TRUMP means is ''making AMERICAN civil again,'' and in Japan we try to do just the same!

Trump: Why allow immigrants from 'shyt'hole countries'?

WASHINGTON - In bluntly vulgar language, President Donald Trump questioned Thursday why the U.S. would accept more immigrants from Haiti and "shyt'hole countries" in Africa rather than places like Norway, as he rejected a bipartisan immigration deal, according to people briefed on the extraordinary Oval Office conversation.

Trump's contemptuous description of an entire continent startled lawmakers in the meeting and immediately revived charges that the president is racist. The White House did not deny his remark but issued a statement saying Trump supports immigration policies that welcome "those who can contribute to our society."

Trump's comments came as two senators presented details of a bipartisan compromise that would extend protections against deportation for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants — and also strengthen border protections, as Trump has insisted.

The lawmakers had hoped Trump would back their accord, an agreement among six senators evenly split among Republicans and Democrats, ending a months-long, bitter dispute over protecting the "Dreamers." But the White House later rejected it, plunging the issue back into uncertainty just eight days before a deadline that threatens a government shutdown.

Dick Durbin of Illinois, the Senate' s No. 2 Democrat, explained that as part of that deal, a lottery for visas that has benefited people from Africa and other nations would be ended, the sources said, though there could be another way for them to apply. Durbin said people would be allowed to stay in the U.S. who fled here after disasters hit their homes in places including El Salvador, Guatemala and Haiti.

Associated Press writers Jill Colvin, Andrew Taylor, Kevin Freking and Matthew Daly contributed to this report.

confounded Sounds like a gaffe but it's not!

Anyone notice five Arab Gulf countries (such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, *UAE) don't allow refugees from Somalia and other Moslim majority African countries and don't give refugees citizenship?  Countries such as Russia and China aren't allowing in refugees from Muslim majority countries.  Asian countries, major economic powerhouses such as Japan and Korea don't invite or accept refugees from Muslim majority countries.

*United Arab Emirates

President Trump feels his country should avoid taking in people that mainly need financial backing. Socialist gibe Canadians gifting new migrants a living allowance, health care, housing etc…  who can't speak English or French and have very few employment skills recommended to become productive citizens to pay back in the long run. Canada has a PM who wants to take in these people, and even fugitives coming to Canada that were fighting for ISIS, to be "re-programmed" with Poetry to become "Rightful Productive Canada citizens" not in a few generations! Such a joke!!! He is giving murdering Terrorist 10.5 Million $s and 3 other Muslims won the Canadian Tax Payers Lotto by splitting over 30M dollars...

Cry me a river! The west is sick hosting people from fail states - there's a setback when 62% of our legal immigrants are on one or more welfare programs while only 28% of our citizens are on one or more. We are attracting too many non educated form poor countries that are hurting the economy world wide not helping and our children will pay for it!.

Don’t we want the finest to grow the country into the very best?  thumbsup
